Imagine all of the money that will go into research and development, advertising, distribution, etc. There you go, that's why Megaman Legends 3 was canceled. They needed the money to develop merchandise that really, doesn't seem like it will be too popular outside of the teenage girl demographic (at least in the west). Japan is a different story of course.

This is happening for quite some time... Now, at leas, Chun Li wil have a new costume on the next Super Street Fighter IV Arcade Edition Advenced Plus'' (since Capcom has decided that DLCs are for nothing, when you can just release a new game).

I find it funny how people are understanding it wrong... It's not a game, it's just merchandising!
