I do seriously hope for a localization. But the $100 price tag almost seems like the final nail in the coffin for a localization. Not many people overseas are gonna buy a PSP game, let alone one for $100.

One can hope, though.

Yeah, one very relevant example is Final Fantasy XIII.

That's not the only reason, there are others. Many, many others, but as I said, they don't want it to feel like the other Final Fantasy games, so they make the references and the "Final Fantasy traditions" rather subtle.

Again, Dissidia 012's price is 6090. That's 77 USD.
And we all know that's not what it costs here!
If this was to get localised it wouldn't cost a hundred dollars. 40 more like.

That's not the only reason, there are others. Many, many others, but as I said, they don't want it to feel like the other Final Fantasy games, so they make the references and the "Final Fantasy traditions" rather subtle.

I won't say what I said is fact, it's just speculation, though I felt a sort of implication from the change of pace and the complete revamping of sorts that XIII contains.

Ok, so watched the trailer- with no sound... Here's what I got out of it.

Parasite eve and Final Fantasy had an HD Baby. Cid was there to deliver it. They named it type - o cause they love the band or maybe it was the baby's blood type idk. Anyway some girl with big boobs talked a lot and then some stuff blew up. Can't really say I'm excited for this.

Omg!! Yuna from FF-X is in the trailer!!! @ 1:54!!

I want turn-based battle system, not Kingdom Hearts style real-time battles...only thing FF in the trailer was the logo, Ifrit and Shiva appearances.

$97 for the game? Pfft who's buying it anyways

TBH I do like the trophy images so I used them

It's just that they have gone too far from their roots

Yes I enjoyed XIII but It's sort of disappointing

EDIT: Wait...this takes place in Pulse? Is this like the "Crisis Core" of XIII (Not talking gameplay-wise)
