You guys do realize that the english puns are no less stupid than the japanese puns right? =p

The only difference is now we can actually understand them. Nathan Swift may sound lame but Kazemaru literally just means "wind man" or something.

Ok, first for all, i need to thank two people: lasher666 and ignitz (from romhack).
lasher666 for contacting ignitz, and ignitz for making a tool to unpack and pack the script file.
With that, i am able to edit the script
yaynds.gif
(Also, thanks for all that tried to help me in extracting the script).
-------------

Well, now the script part is the most difficult one, why? Because the script file have 1737 files to be edited!
So i need help making all the changes in the script to finish soon.

Im having the idea of upload the script files unpacked and give instruction of how work in that files.
I will post the link in IRC, to not having problems here: InazumaUndub IRC Channel

Only a hex editor and a little advices are needed.

EDIT: Tutorial will be posted later.

Dear all,
Thanks for all efforts of the translation team. When will we got the patch for Japanese voice (undub) with full right Japanese characters' name?

I'm really looking forward to the upcoming patch.

What version are you using to make the translation?

I'm not asking for the rom, I'm asking because I manage to get the audio of the opening, cinematics in the beginning and first dialogues in Japanese.

I don't know at wich point the game stays in japanese or at a later part it becomes spanish again, the only thing I had to do was taking the .SAD files of the sound folder to the same in the spanish version.

You could try it so when you take a partial (or complete) patch you will already have the sound fixed also, as well as the patch for every version of the game (as well as the names are in a common file for every version)

We are using the European English version of the game (not patched).

That can be tested with a cheat code, you should request a code to swap characters with others.

wao...HUGE progress since i last visited here...now i really cant wait to play the game...i have been enduring with those weird english names all this while and its slowly killing me... ==''

i mean think about it...raimon is obviously japanese name for "gate of lightning" and the students are all wearing japanese clothes... and yet they are speaking in british accent... >.>

not to sound ungrateful to those people who brought the game to EUR all the way from japan, but i DO hope they'd atleast try to make the game similar to what ATLUS did to nippon ichi games...dual language.

oh well, no use crying over spilled milk i guess...

keep up the awesome work guys!! im cheering for you!!

We are now in the script part, and maybe will be able to pack a sound.pb, doing the full undub, soon.
What's left is see if we need to modify some images.
