Agreed, it is a fighting game not a RPG.

The default header is in Japanese. A lot of people doesn't like this

Also, I actually didn't like the icon either...
So I decided to change this and I've updated the header of the game

Old header and icon:

New header + icon:

For the people that are interested to change it like I did, Just download "dsbuff" over here:

Very impressive work guys.

I hope to see this go all the way in case there's not an official english release. I find it very odd one hasn't even been announced by now.

Just because it hasn't been announced yet doesn't mean it won't be.
There will be an official localization. All Dragon Ball games have the same localization rate as a Pokemon game.

Never said it wouldn't come out in America and Europe, just said it was odd that it hasn't been announced for either yet. When past Dragonball games are usually announced what regions they'll be coming out in before the japanese release, not after.

Doesn't quite matter when you know it'll most likely get localized in English. Many people want this game because Dragon Ball is popular. The makers know this aand will most likely localize it on that fact.

...great work.
but even if it does come out in english, i rather play undub version instead...i STILL having difficulty hearing a foreign goku yelling out "kame hame haaa" as well as Vegita's localised voice sounding like Ginyu (japanese voice Ginyu)...

If Elza still releasing patch, you better change the header after he released the final patch, unless you want to change the header everytime he released a patch update.

You don't have to change the icon.
The header of the game is pretty annoying for me since it's in Japanese

Whenever I want to select the game in the list, it will be there with a Japanese name...

It's just weird when all my other games are just in English

I was just goofing around with the MSG files last night, thinking "I'm gonna work on a translation for this" but somehow kept missing all the files that I *had* to translate

Thanks to you guys, now I don't have to. No, seriously, I'm really glad you're doing this rather than give me another thing to do x) It would have been nice though because I would've been able to learn about DBZ ):

But if you want me to work on any graphics for the game

which I probably will anyway if SOMEONE'S GRAPHICS are not as sexy

just lemme know. You can check my work on the two Naruto Shinobi Retsuden patches if you need some confirmation on that :V

Doesn't matter; this isn't Zero Wing and the creator wouldn't want to have a translation that's criticized for its awkward grammar and rampant typos
Fixing the typos = more professional look. When I play someone's patch, I give props to that person if it has nice graphic editing and a good script, because it shows that they put their all into making that patch look its best.

EDIT: I have some of my files still open in my hex editor. Do you want me to clean them up and share them with you?
Actually, if you want me to just help out, I don't mind doing that either; just don't want you getting mad that I'm stepping on your toes or anything.

Nope thx i have too much help at the moment a philip is fixing the graphics and the pointers to fix some words etc.
You will see a new patch very soon.
