hi stevoal,make sure you have IOS 36 wad file in the root of your sd card,also when you load homebrew channel make sure the wireless adaptor icon in the low right corner of the screen stops flashing,stevoal said:

the easiest way to make sure you have established a connection is to press home button in the homebrew channel if the connection is working then you should see your wii's ip adress in the upper left corner of the screen,give it 20 seconds and you should see it(if u have a valid internet connection of course)
when your ip adress shows up and you made sure that you have IOS36 wad file in the root of the sd card go on with the IOS236 installer again,and select wad installation

guys as you know the new call of duty black ops game requires us to use IOS224 v 5.1 installer and also ciosxrev 20b as base 57 installed,so I would like to compile my own ready-to-install wad files

Please help me, I downloaded a patched Fatal Frame 4 iso, burned it using IMGburn at 2x speed with an HP DVD-R and loaded it using Neogamma, but all I get is a black screen, it does not start up. My other games, Trauma Center and the Japanese unpatched Fatal Frame 4 (both are backups as well) works perfectly since I already softmodded my 4.2u Wii, this is the only one that is having that black screen problem.

I previous guides there was dvd movie support but in the new guide there is no install of the dvd player files. I did some research and read 4.3 breaks the dvd support but how can I use this guide to modify 4.2 system and still be able to play dvd movies.

If u want to pack wads of your own cIOSs, just install them using the cIOS Installers, then dump them using bluedump v3 (non-fakesigning version, since the cIOSs are already fakesigned). Or u can use wad creator, or u can dump your nand then use showmiiwads to decrypt your nand then pack any IOSs that u have on the dump into wads.
I'm sure these files are being illegally share on the internet somewhere, but if you build your own cIOS wads, I encourage you to keep the files to yourself, as sharing them directly is illegal.

apply the mod v3 installer
install all wads/ IOS TRUCHA etc
priloader
installed usb loader gx channel
and everytime i load a game for instance grand slam tennis..
when i select it from usb loader all i get is BLACK SCREEn remote flashing light then turns off..
what am i doing wrong i prefer using usb loader GX
though its working for configurable loader..
this guide is much better with dop ios MOD it has always work great i still have the files but im having problems can u point right direction where i can install the dop ios mod method or have usb loader working

Whenever I run IOS236 installer I get some error after clicking 1 its the exception (DSI) occurred! error and with all those letters/numbers below, how do you fix that?

FYI, there is no difference in the end result from dop ios mod vs MMM vs ios 236 installer. If the game works in config, and not usb loader gx, it is a problem with your settings in usb loader gx, or a problem with the loader itself, and the guide is not to blame.

maybe u missed the part about getting the files legally... and the file packs associated with this guide are definitely illegal... honestly, the only reason why I haven't made a big deal about it thus far is because I respect xzxero and I don't want to cause problems for him or his guide. But I'm honestly surprised gbatemp ever allowed this guide to be posted in the first place... meanwhile they ban helpful folks like deadlyfoez... gbatemp rocks, but they got it ass backwards on those decisions!burritoboy9984 said:

nm i got it... found an old modify.zip with previous guide...
i was able to recall the steps!
RUN MMM
PATCH IOS36
then install all wads!
done!
so easy and simple yet it took me 8 hours to figure out. daaaaaaamn now gx loader runs okay!
If I follow this guide from start to finish, would my wad manager work again (stopped working after disc update)?

hi there, with the latest neogamma, we are able to play GC games apperantely, but obviously we need to install cmios, I have rvl-mios-v4.wad and I am going to install it using cMIOSWiiGator but when I try to install it, it asks for what IOS I should use, the default is 36, should I go on with that or choose another one? just asking so I won´t brick my wii. (it says ISO 58, rev 6175 on the side), or press B without IOS reload.
