No, my question is: Can I play Wii games on a 4GB SD card?

You can't play GC backups over any USB device. The Wii shuts down the USB ports when in GC mode. HDD, flash drive, DVD drive, it doesn't matter, if it's USB the GC mode won't recognize it.Grendel23 said:Could someone confirm that you can use uLoader with an external dvd drive to play GC games on a Wii with the new chipset? I can only play 1 game at a time, so I only need 1 game on a card at a timeDialexio said:You should be able to, but don't expect to store a lot of games on that.
On a WBFS partition, the size will shrink when it's placed on the SD card.miketh2005 said:I can only play 1 game at a time, so I only need 1 game on a card at a timeDialexio said:You should be able to, but don't expect to store a lot of games on that.
Ok, please help me, I downloaded a wii game. It's an .iso, and it's 4.73 GB, though. How do I reduced the size to fit on my 4GB?

Wii Play is like 0.1GB...Wii Backup Disc is even smaller at 0.017GB (17MB).QUOTE said:some games could be 2.78 GB, others could use up 0.53 GB...
Sure, but who needs that? It's cheaper to replace the chipset and play GC backup games from CD. Also, I know of a way that you can boot a GC game from an SD card, it would require software/hardware that is $19.99, but it's cheaper than that jukebox thing. I'm testing the method as soon as the package arrives.Tichinde925 said:Its the only method of playing GC backups on USB.
