An infectious chip is not a standard mod chip, so any of those standard ones will not do. Google infectious chip and the Wii nand and you will see that you have to do some serious soldering directly to the Wii nand chip.

There is nothing else you can do. Software wise you can't do anything else as you have been told. It's fully bricked. You'll have to crack open the case and solder etc, or send it off.

Ok so can anyone tell me what's the part inside the Wii that gets bricked by what I have done and can I or someone just change that part out? and if so where is the best place to order replacement parts for the Wii?

It's the software in this type of scenario. I guess think of it on the line that if you format your hard drive. You could still turn the computer on, but you can't get into windows.

That comparison certainly has plenty of differences, but it's kinda the same idea. The hardware is not broken, but the software is not correctly in place for the system to boot up.
Ok if I formatted my hard drive in my P/C I have several different windows O/S's that I can install right back in very easy on a disc...just time consuming, so this is what I'm looking to do... I'm reading up on the SaveMii and was thinking that this may or may not be able to help me out.

the only thing will work is infectious or send it in to nintendo.. trust me we have seen these kind of topics started about 500 times with the person who started it not listening. YOU HAVE 3 OPTIONS INFECTIOUS,SEND IT IN TO NINTENDO OR ENJOY UR PAPER WEIGHT. you deleted the ios that the system menu runs off savemii won't do shit.

As pointed out the analogy has plenty of differences - a key one among them being you simply cant just re-install the system menu and this instance Savemii will not work as it requires a system menu that is not stubbed and is recognisable - it has been pointed out what options are open to you.
According to this link
http://savemii.net/troubleshooting.html
You have a branch C failure so even if you can see the version system menu (using savemii or savemiifree) your options are limited.
One thing I should point out - if you were using a back up loader like Neogamma - the firmware certainly did not need updating (which you alluded to in your initial post) all that was required was some fine-tuning of the settings.

When comparing your incident to an computer analogy, it's best to use an motherboard as an example.
What you pretty much have done is uninstalled the BIOS of an motherboard, and flashed it with an incompatible BIOS. As most of you should know, a bad flash to a motherboard BIOS will make it a paperweight, and there is nothing you can do except to send it back or get an new one.

I bought my Wii 3 years ago and I decided to hack it last week. I took 2 days for reading everything I needed to understand what I was doing. I did it and hacked my Wii perfectly. The first thing I read about hacking my Wii was installing bootmii as boot2 and backing up my memory before doing anything. I'm a ****ing french canadian that isn't good with english but I understood that part. If I can understand it, anyone can do it too...

Well not...

And now?

Your backup didn't help, it's to late to make a backup.

Infectus or Nintento can help, otherwise new2wii can sell the parts like the drive, power supply and much more.

You need to go back through my posts and the http://savemii.net/troubleshooting.html as I already did and it's a Branch D...turn on Wii black screen "YES" not a Branch C....

If you didn't install bootmii to boot2 and/or to IOS along with preloader AND previously made a nand backup you are screwed. If you don't know how to solder don't even attempt the infectus install you will bridge connections like a madman.

Blindly looking around for solutions shouldn't really be an excuse. If you were looking at the right guide, I am sure they would have told you to do a nand backup or install preloader, and etc.
If I remember correctly, 4.2 makes IOS60 a stub and use IOS70 for the menu, so I think you pretty much installed your system menu on a stub. Also, if you were to read most guides dealing with this, they tell you to never uninstall any IOS below 200. 4.2 also does something to your boot2 (updates it or something), which makes your Wii easier to brick if you were planning to downgrade, which should also be in guides regarding these things.

I was looking around, and found a guide, it says you have to downgrade the IOS in order to downgrade (if this actually works.)
QUOTE
Step 4: Downgrading IOS

1.Rename boot.dol on the SD cart to boot_cios.dol
2.Rename boot_downgrader.dol to boot.dol
3.In HBC, press the home button of the Wii remote and select Launch Bootmii.
4.cBoot2 should start and then IOS Downgrader.
5.Press on A to start the Downgrade.
6.Care for that all IOS files are ready and it says Installation complete. OK!
7.When this is ready, press any button to return to the HBC or system menu.
Source

So as you can see, it says you have to use Bootmii to downgrade, and I never found any of these steps on your first post. Going blindly on something you aren't familiar isn't smart. Patience is key.
You screwed yourself, we already told you your options, so why don't you go back and READ, and stop wasting your time, and ours.

Ah ha your funny, for someone with a bricked wii you have a very bad attitude, do you think you are someone important that can just order us to make a solution to your incompetence. We know what we are talking about, we do it everyday, day in day out, you are some dude who did it correctley then fucked it with a rookie mistake. Rule 1 - Never uninstall IOS.

Its too late for your wii, 2 options at this point,

1) send it to Nintendo say your sorry, pay money.

2) Go to a shop buy a newone swap wiis, take it back demand money back.

hope this helps.

Then as it is not a hardware failure based on your own actions prior to the failure, the problem lies with the NAND so it simply mean the options are as already pointed out - infectus or return to Nintendo....

new2wii, your question has been answered several times already.

There is nothing you can do, except find someone skilled enough to install an infectious or send it to nintendo.

Might I inquire why on earth you tried to downgrade?
