I'm about to get very upset, why programmers exclude european languages? Do they think we don't deserve a game in our language?
consider yourself lucky.......the only game that saw in portuguese were south park for n64......spain at least have more than one game in their whon language.....

Harry Potter and Philosopher's Stone and Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets are GBA releases in Portuguese, among others...

About "(E)" versions of games...

A lot of games don't have other languages aside from English in because the only real thriving European market for games is the UK which is often the only European country publishers publish games for.

Logically games released in the UK could have a (UK) suffix or similar however the game serials state Europe instead (maybe an aftermath of saying it's PAL, but also because that's where the carts will have been manufactured...in Germany) so therefore it's (E) even if English is the only language.

You could also pretend (E) = English, such as (F) = French etc... Even though an (E) game with English as it's only language it still classified with a Europe part in it's serial (Unlike French and Deutch games for example).

Personally I think it is kinda stupid for publishers to manufacture games in several different languages for seperate carts (Yay Sega), however sometimes this can be as a result of lack of cart space, time to add additional languages during development, lack of capital to do so at the time or the publisher may simply be testing the waters by seeing how a game does in one country first.

By the way, I've bought the real copy and it seems as if they've fixed the translation errors, or at least some. When linking at asks something like 'Do you want to link?' rather than the 'NOT' version.

The game producers probably don't release it in european languages because they're just too lazy to pay a couple of guys to do the translations and set up a seperate production line for you guys. Excuse me if it seems offensive but, it seems they try to stick with main-stream languages (one more people use)

Oh and I havn't downloaded any of the versions yet but, from the screens, it looks ALOT like the SNES harvest moon...
