I know right, disappointing how I can't get past the second mix. It is just the stupid statues mess me up... And haven't played it in months, so just gets old and lost my sense of rhythm.

Got FF III, beat it already ^^. Got FF IV, beat that already... Tactics is sorta boring now... XII Revenant Wings , boring as well. Tried first Castlevania, got quite bored to be honest. Might try it again next time, but right now, nope.

Gonna search this Music Mon-Stars game...

The newer games are much, much different to the first game.

I'll throw a recommendation out there for Order of Ecclesia, though.

i found Treasure World to be great for road trips, but since your gonna be on a plane...not so much. Ragnarok DS is an amazing game that kept me playing for hours at a time. Only the japanese one out now....but there is a translation patch out that translates most of the menu options and things.

Castlevania, aiight maybe x).
GTA CW was the worst... It had horrible graphics >_<
Kirby Super Star Ultra, beat it in a day. xD.
Treasure World, never heard of it... Time to see it on YouTube.
Ragnarok DS, waiting for NA release ^^.
Movies, I might get caught xP.

Anyway, has anyone ever brought a DS Lite + Flashcart + SD Card onto a plain just recently this year? I don't want to get it taken away T_T. Too lazy to back up stuff...

If you're worried about getting caught, put a legit cart in your DS, and the flashcart in your carry on....although I doubt it will cause any problems otherwise...

EDIT: I would recommend: N+, Desktop Tower Defense, Line Rider Freestyle, anything with "mario" and possibly NFS Underground 2.

Oh okay. That's what I was planning on doing anyway xD.

Gonna go put Pokemon Diamond (Legit Cart) into my DS, then in my bag/carry on luggage, gonna put a sweater, My AceKard + Kirby, my wallet and last but not least some chocolate xDD.

Well, a few years ago, when I had an R4 (lol), I took it on fine. Noone cared. This year, I took my DSL on the plane for a 5hr trip as well. And I did not get caught.

Jump Ultimate Stars I found was good fun, you can play your own tournament.
Professor Layton, is just bloody brilliant.
May not last awhile, but TWEWY's Tin Pin entertains you for like 10 minutes. And if you have alot of other games, you can take a break and play that.

nah plane people dont give a crap i just put it in my backpack (turned off or it will fuck up in the xray) and then i just take my bag on the plane, i then play it on the plane, r4 lol, a word of warning though

DO NOT USE THE DS WIRELESS OR DS WIFI BECAUSE IT CAN INTERFERE WITH THE PLANES INSTRAMENTS AND YOU COULD CAUSE THE PLANE TO CRASH

been on literally 40 -50 planes since i had a flashcart. they only ever touched my ds once and only because they were taking things out of it. last flight was two weeks ago and before that was a month and a half ago. you're fine. i guarantee it. i'll even buy you a new acecard if you get it taken away.

and ive played wireless on a plane. it doesn't do anything, they're just trying to be safe, and i can't argue with that.

Here's the rule of thumb: when the pilot asks you to turn off all electronic devices (including CD players and iPods as well as cellphones etc) don't use wireless play. This is usually just during take off and landing or during extreme turbulence.

Using Wi-Fi is just stupid because most likely you won't have a wi-fi hotspot up there.

While I've never taken my DS on a plane, you have to remember: these are airport security personnel. They aren't trained in the art of detecting what is and what isn't a DS flashcart. As long as you don't flaunt it and act casually, you should be fine. Japanese airports might crackdown on R4's, though, but only because that one company has been targeted by the game media and in stores there.

Hmm when they ask you to turn off all electronic devices during take off and landing isn't that when the pilots are communicating with the airport? Anyways yeah you won't get caught if you don't look guilty. And technically you really aren't guilty of anything besides using ROMs. They look out for dangerous stuff not a guy playing Pokemon on his DS

owning a flash linker is not illegal. i take more than 1 with me on all trips. don't even worry about that.

the mythbusters proved that cell phones do not interfere with air planes in any way. the reason they want you to not be doing anything is incase the plane has problems and you need to secure yourself.

the best games for trips are emulated games. with nesds you can have over 700 supported roms. neods you can have 64 roms. dsdoom you can have a ton of doom iwads. gbc, sega, atari, the list goes on and on and on. the best part about old school games is that they can be beat quickly. i usually also take a few mini-game style roms. clubhouse games for example. i try not to play any game that is involving because you can get bored easily. once you get bored you will notice that you are on a plane. when that happens time passes very slowly. don't forget moonshell and a good flick. but be warned, even at full volume if you sit near by the wing or behind it, it is very hard to hear the movie.

also forgot to mention any of the guitar hero games. not as good as the console versions, but still fun for a handheld. just be sure to bring headphones.....but it will still be pretty annoying for anyone sitting next to you
