Gaming When is Final Fantasy VI gonna get the credit it deserves?

I will always hold IX as my least favourite final fantasy.

I discount X-2 from that claim as its not a real one and i also discount XII because i plain just dont like the battle system and thats not enough for it to take the award of least favourite as thats just a personal control thing.

For me the least favourite one will always be VIII. That one was very weird to me, I mean, with the witches and music and all.
I'm surprised that you discount XII because of the battle system (not the story?) and it's still not your least favourite one but IX. What's wrong with IX anyway?

FFVI will get the recognition it deserves, but only when there's a DS remake of it. Do you realise how little recognition FFIV got before it was remade? It was always one of the best FF games, but hardly anyone had ever played it until the DS remake. I expect the same of FFVI.

If they ever make a remake, make it on Wii or Xbox360 or PS3. I can't stand playing an amazing title on those little screen with cheap 3D graphics. I'd rather play FFIV on my PS1.

I love FFVIII. I don't ever really hate games. I have played FFVII but never really got into it. I own most of the FF's besides ps and ps2 ones. I have played FFX and FFXII and I didn't like FFX, it just didn't attract me. FFVI was the best I have played. I love Edgar with his chainsaw lol. Stupid Clock can't hold Edgars pwnage lol.

I really think they should remake FFVI (for that's the only title I haven't finished yet, due to some save lost problem). I think FFX is really good. At least the female characters (namely Yuna) are attractive, unlike FFXII.

why do people love Final Fantasy VI so much? i am a major Final fantasy fan and i think its one of the worse ones, i prefer Final fantasy IV and V Those are the games that need credit (well mainly FFV, FFIV has more than enough).

People love it so much because it was the first REALLY great one we got in the US. True, IV and V are also really great, but you have to remember that in the US, VI is III and we didn't see IV and V until years later. So on top of a great game in general, many of us have a bit of nostalgia about VI. That goes a long way.
