I was having real problems getting this game to work on my wii. I tried everything everyone suggested and nothing worked. So I visited a certain Spanish site and grabbed it from a different source and it worked perfectly - worth a try if you're still stuck,

Well, i found a build of NeoGamma called "Wii Resort Test 1". I'll upload EDIT:now. I've had a long day,but it works. Its how I fixed the 001 error.

Ok everyone that is having trouble with this..... Here is my setup and how I got it work.. I am using a NTSC Wii. I have System Menu 4.0 installed. I have Wankinkokos cIOS 38 rev 13 (aka rev13a) I have no idea if it works with rev 13b or not. There has seem to be alot of bugs with 13b. So use just rev 13. I am using the USB Loader GX rev 566. I did the whole wii scrubbing method that has been described. Open up the ISO with wii scrubber and look at partition2/sys/mpls_movie/ to find player.dol extract it to your computer. then rename it the game id is for Wii Sports Resort. It will probably be RZTJ01 which is what is for me. So the player.dol file should be named RZTJ01.dol or whatever the game id is if it happens to be different. Now put in the root of your SD card. NOT in the root of the apps folder or in any other folder. RZTJ01.dol should not be in any folder. It should simply be in the root of the SD. Now fire up USB Loader GX. Using the following settings:

Video Mode: System Default

VIDTV PATCH: OFF

Game Language: Japanese

Ocarina: OFF

IOS: 249

ERROR 02 FIX: ON

Patch Country Strings: OFF

Alternate DOL: ON

Block IOS Reload: OFF

At this point when the game loads you will click on the screen then it will play a video in Japanese telling you how to use the Wii Motion plus. It last about 10 minutes. Let it play and finish... You will then be taken back to the main system menu. After this you MUST power off your wii and power it back on. After you do this go back into USB Loader GX and change ONLY this setting in the game settings. Alternate DOL: OFF. Now the game should load and you will be able to play only if you have Wii motion plus. this tutorial should work for anyone with a NTSC Wii I would assume.

when you re downloaded WSR was it the same release and did you run it through wii brick blocker?

hmmm markedmanner,i dont run my games off hd or mem stick,i run them off dvd so using usb loader gsx doesnt apply

i have to name my player dol to RZTJ.dol and i have to put it in a folder other wise it doesnt work

I don't see a "Alternate DOL" option in USB Loader GX, just in Neogamma.

I've tried it with alt-dol OFF and it will either give me the 002 error or the 001 error now. Won't even get me as far the the 5 option menu unless I have alt-dol ON.

Edit: Now it's gotten worst, not Neogamma won't even load the game unless the alt-dol is set to ON. This just gets progressively worst.

Try using the modded NeoGamma in my last post on page 3. That fixed all errors with me. Just toy around with settings until it boots.

Just extract the player.dol from sys\mpls_movie\player.dol using WiiScrubber 1.4 and rename it to RZTJ01.dol and put it in your alternate dol path on your SD.
Then use GX (latest rev.(!)) to start the game using alternate dol for the first time. After watching the Wii Motion+ video the game reboots.
Then start GX again remove the alt dol settings and the game plays fine.
I also enabled 002fix, but i'm not sure if you need that.

so here is where i stand.....

i am on 4.0E with cIOS rev13a
i am booting from DVD (a brickblocked and un-brickblocked image),i am using NeoGamma 5RC1 or whatever its called

and i get it to boot to the screen where you can watch the 4 WM+ videos EVERYTIME,i just cannot get it to go past,its as if my WM+ controller is not connected,i seem to have tried everything,i even put the image on a small pen drive(1gb) and used USB LOADER GX and used all the methods mentioned on here,i get the exact same result as running it from the DVD

i dont suppose anyone knows why i have to name my player.dol to RZTJ.dol and not RZTJ01.dol and why i have to place it in a folder called NeoGamma an not directly into the SD cards root?

is there a way of watching the original WM+ video again?

does anyone else think my WM+ is faulty?

where is the supposed save file for WSR?

if i wait and buy the Euro version,will i have the same problem?

I done the EXACT same as markedmanner only I am running 4.0E and that worked perfectly well for me. Been playing now for 3 or 4 days with absolutely no problems. Regards xxx

Language: Doesn't matter. I've tried english and german...no change in loading/gameplay

This method worked for me as well, PAL 4.0E Wii with cIOS 10. and USBloader gx rev 554. Started once with the alt dol, the game runs from any 002-fixed USB loader.

the game starts i just cant get past the 4 vids and the quit screen

Thanks, now to your problem. Every loader expects the .dol in another folder with 4 or 6 digits, that's the reason for the different filename. So now with the "Wii Resort Test 1" NeoGamma version, if you enable the alternative .dol loading, does it show the wm+ intro video? And if you disable alternative .dol loading after watching the video and the crash/reboot after it, what happens?

i get to the 4 wm+ vids EVERY time,either with usb loader gx or tthrough neogamma using the wii resort test 1,if i disable alt dol loading i get 001 error,funny thing is i loaded up coverfloader and changed nothing,i just booted it and would you believe it,it worked,weird eh so whats wrong with neogammer etc?
