Hacking Alright... info overload X_X

Ok so I've managed to install softmii 4.0 with the gator .3 backup loader and ios 265 or w/e

But now I want the ability to load both wii and gamecube backups from the disk channel. How do I go about doing this?

Also, which files do I need to update in the future (like cios rev 11 or w/e) in order to keep up with the scene?

1. Sorry, soft mii for the 4.0 firmware, I'm sure you knew that but just wanted to be an ass.

Can I have some god damn help please? I'm sorry I don't have hours a day to spend my life on a forum that talks about hacking video game consoles like you do. I'm in medical school and there is no way I can spend more than 10 minutes at a time on here.

If you only have 10 mins at a time then is there any real need for this info as you are obviously FAR too busy to play Games.. Maybe you should go away and leave this forum to the ones that do have the time and dont think they are better than every one else and should have everything done for them..

Hope you have a nice "Buddy" to help with the school work ... God knows if you can work out a search button then I pity any one you will treat

Wow, gbatemp is full of 'holes.

Install cIOSCORP and cIOS36rev9 and whatever the latest cMIOS is. 8 I think?

To run GC backups from the disc channel you need:
cIOS36r9 (actually any version, but r9 is the best)
cIOSCorp installed
MIOSr8 from wiigator (press X before you press A when installing for disc channel support) OR waninkokos MIOSr3 (which always has disc channel support)

And some people here should stop complaining about others and start to help

The search button is placed on a very bad place in my opinion, so you can expect everyone to use it

I was a noob and I am still! But I used this guide on 4 Wii now with great success.
When you finish this guide you are set for ANYTHING. You will have the latest update and preloader (don't use a sdhc sdcard for preloader) and use the hack.ini from this site. http://wiibrew.org/wiki/Preloader/hacks

Just add the installation of hackmii (bootmii in boot2) to it to backup your nand if possible.

If you follow the instruction its foolproof!

I don't expect much more from a forums full of ppl who are probably only 14. Telling a person how stupid they are for not using a search button is 1 post and typing out a meaningful helpful response is, guess what, ALSO one post.

But if you continually help these people for every single solitary question that they want then all that does is get the board full of the same post just because people wont help themselves.
What is the purpose of a "Sticky" or a search button at all then. A little self help or manners would help these poeple who evidently need others help. Just demanding things because they are at Medical school and dont have the time is no excuse to be disrespectfull.

This happens everywhere... It was the SOFTMII team who went in the huff everytime someone asked when it would be released on iRC and started saying it would be delayed more and also kicked people from the channel... Why did they not reply to every single user that asked and give them a polite answer???????

The arrogance of people who slag off the ones that spend time on here helping others is unbelievable but they think that to slag them off is OK and that the same people should help them as well.

The search button is at the top of the page where (as far as I know) most browsers will load from. They dont start from half way down a page but at the top so it should be able to be seen.

ITS ONLY MANNERS.

The OP gave wrong information then slagged off people when he was corrected.. But if you all want to help these rude, obnoxious people then by all means go ahead.

More fool you.

I have no problem with trying to help people but why give help to ones that think they are better than everyone else and demand that we help them..
