does the hong kong post tracking number they provide you show when it arrives in US? so far the only thing it says is that it has left hong kong post office for its destination.

In my experience, those tracking numbers are useless. Just wait for a while.

The tracking number only tells you when the item has left Hong Kong. I know, for example, that it never takes longer than 4 days for me to recieve my item after the item leaves HK, usually three, two if I'm lucky.

Yes, I get my DX orders within about 4-5 days.

True for US; the tracking number can be plugged in at usps.com and you can get more detailed info from the start .

Yeah I was going to say, you can put your tracking info in at the dealextreme website and it'll take you to Hong Kong Post and then from there you can choose what country you're in and it'll take you to their tracking site and then enter your number there and see where its at.

I just ordered an Acekard 2.1 from DX today. I'm just hoping it gets here sometime before Christmas or I'll have nothing to give to my friend when he gives me something!

I have ordered 2 things from DX (4 days apart) and have yet to receive it although I already knew it would take a while.

So far, both orders have taken 4 days to ship. The invoices arrived at 1-2am HK time, so I count the day of.

Then, on the site it says 5-14 days for me. I'll try to update as to how long each order took.

Edit: 4 days to ship to me once it became air mail.

So, 8 days total for 1 AK2.

If the times are the same, I should get another AK2 in 4 shipping days.

Edit #2: Yup. 2nd cartridge came 4 BUSINESS days later. So, 8 and 7 shipping days are how long it took to get 2 AK2 orders from DX. I thought it would take longer to get here because it is sort of around the holidays.
