It's odd how the US version came out like 3 days after the release date and the EUR version is available 2 days before.

I really don`t think this is odd... The EU Release groups are most of the time way faster then the other!

Nice game by the way, but with too much Werehog (but that doesn`t mean I don`t like the Werehog parts

. I just don`t like the relation: Werehog 3:1 Hedgehog) and the boost is not well made as well, since the homing attack and the boost is the same gesture... They should have made a boost-button!

US wii "scene" pretty much doesn't exist - it is all lame webwares kiddies (with a few exceptions). Euro groups still just about exist.

Summing up, gameplay is quite good but the day and night stages feel like 2 completely different games, music is great, the story, cut-scenes and all the BS between levels is horrifying..

Already posted my impressions/semi-review of the game on the US thread for anyone interested

Not really most countries have the game before the date, the date given probably just means "all over Europe" just like North American dates are mostly shipping dates.

Happens with other console releases too.

Anyway as I said before, day levels are fun, night levels not so. Sonic Team need to quit these gimmicks and just make a straight forward Sonic game which is about gameplay.

This game is probably the best 3D Sonic game to date ;D

Also, some secret missions and extended stages:

In the Wii version of Sonic Unleashed you can collect a number of keys that unlock new missions in the past continents. Some of these missions include secret and extended stages. Quick list of what's in this video:

Sonic: Spogonia Extended
Sonic: Spogonia Sewers (Secret)
Sonic: Chun-Nan Valley (Secret)
Sonic: Chun-Nan Garden (Secret)
Sonic: Abadat Ruins (Secret)
Sonic: Shamar Buggy Ride (Secret)

Lol, they kept the best for the final XD

Is there only English language included? Or is it a MultiX?
The game was already in german and english in the us-version.

In marked contrast to other peoples opinions I found the cutscenes to be really entertaining, because it is a bit over the top and it doesn`t take itself too seriously... especially the cutscenes with Robotnik! That`s how it is suppose to be! Really great.

Thanks, for the information, so it will be most likely a Multi5.
almost EVERY game by SEGA is Multi5 from start on (jap/us) so for SEGA games you don't have to wait for PAL versions (if they are later)

YES he could wait. Language isn't the problem here, it's the Region and almost every Chip can't play Games with other Regions than the console is. But I heard, there is a program which changes the WII Regioncode to whichever you want. So, in future even the region problem could be fixed.

More likely the issue is the fact that a lot of euro SD users use RGB SCART, which results in a red tint to the screen when playing NTSC games. Dirty merkins usually use composite (or s-vid for the upper class types) and don't have proper RGB.

I've got the US version which works perfectly with Backup Launcher Gamma, apart from having to select PAL60 in the options.

And yeah, the game is pretty good but there's just too many Werewolf stages and not enough Sonic stages. The cutscenes are alright, definitely better than the recent serious rubbish. I laughed quite a few times at the scenes. The hub world and the dialogue... It's best to skip it and go where the bar on the bottom tells you to go.
