There are hundreds of projects to port. See here for a sample.

But who will donate their free time and skills to do it? That's the most important matter.

I think AI is going to be a huge help in making ports to the Wii much faster, we've already seen a couple of Wii ports done using AI in a fraction of the time it used to take.

Yep, that's correct. This is basically the reason why we've been having some ports and stuff that was otherwise forever condemned to be thought as impossible for the Wii, in a very short span of time. And it is nothing short of amazing, my congrats to these unsung heroes, along with the old school pro coders and their amazing set of software skills.

Speaking of AI, I saved the entire official GameCube programming guide here—Nintendo even includes tips on avoiding processor overload and things like that. I was experimenting with it, but unfortunately, since the AI is free, there’s a time limit.

Mentioned 6 posts above, already added it the day of release.

Hoping it gets ironed out, many bugs.
My bad, quickly scanned this page for links to the port instead of reading lol i feel like minecraft,at least messing with them both for a little is the worse of the two. Thats in beta though, hopefully he can improve stability .

Still pretty cool,id love more ports but not enough devs working on the wii. Portmaster has a bunch im sure thatd work on the wii, those are already well optimized for low end handhelds.

Also thanks for your list and continued updates, been using the thread for a long time to keep updated!

OptiProjects has just released an update for Plants vs. Zombies. Version 1.2 is likely the final version of PvZ for the Wii, and there is a noticeable improvement in performance and loading times.

Main changes:

- Performance and memory management optimization (implementation of HEAP and LazyCollector), fixing black textures and crashes when switching screens (for example, when accessing the almanac).

- Keyboard support for creating and editing users.

- Fix for the victory audio (winmusic) and improvements to the logging system.

- Major fixes to OpenGX, with a noticeable improvement in graphics performance.

Also, Opti has shared updates in the “Posts” section of his YouTube channel:

Minecraft: He is currently fine-tuning the conversion from Java to C++, fixing bugs related to servers, random crashes, and erratic behavior of enemies and wolves. Just as he did with PvZ, he is phasing out OpenGX to switch directly to the Wii’s native GX, aiming for complete stability before release.

GTA Vice City: Once Minecraft is finished, he’ll do the same with GTA and update and improve the Wii version.

It is now available on their website
Guys, stop linking to warez and piracy here. The guy only posts full copyrighted assets and not the engines.

I don't want the thread to be taken down, I've put a lot of effort over the years into keeping it updated and clean. There's a reason why the main post links to source only, or where to get info.

My apologies. I've edited my previous message.

No problem. BTW, I tried the PvZ port yesterday, luckily, it has basic Gamecube controller support, so I went through some levels, it is running very good, besides some bugs.

Well, things have been changing on the Wii scene with the common spread use of AI, so hopefully we'll get those sweet ass ports of N64 decompiled games.

Glad it is so useful for people to have all the cool ports that the Wii has received on one spot.
