just install some of my games into one of my switches and when i play it keeps asking me to update the game, anyway to get rid of the message on said games.

Setup exosphere to block server communication so it doesn't nag you about future games update.

I have it set up but it keeps asking me to update

You probably have it setup up after you didn't have it setup and a game nag you about update, once you update your firmware to a higher firmware it will stop nagging you if you have exosphere setup prior to firmware update, all the update data is in the firmware.

You can use Goldleaf app to remove the nag.
To reset the launch ticket in Goldleaf, follow these steps:
  1. Open Goldleaf and navigate to the SD card or system memory where your game is installed.
  2. Select the game you wish to reset the launch version for.
  3. Choose the option to Reset launch version.
  4. Confirm the action to complete the process.
This process allows you to play the game on any firmware version without the need for an update notice. It is important to note that this action can be done while staying offline, which may help in avoiding unwanted updates or notifications.

I need your help please.
I got a v1 Switch that I bought on 2017 if I remember correctly. I used SX OS with it without any issues for years.
Left it in the drawer for years, now I wanted to boot it again.
So I plugged in to charge (successfully), booted onto original firmware (sysNand). The version was 9.2. I don’t know why, I decided to upgrade to latest version.
Of course, it went bad. I can only see Nintendo logo when booting then nothing.
I tried to RCM with the Jig and the SX dongle but the console does not even boot this time.
I tried Nintendo’s recovery mode (volume + and volume -) but can’t get into it.
Finally, I thought that the update has blocked RCM somehow so I installed a Picofly and it didn’t fixed it. I have a long, long, short debug message. I’ve redone my solder many times but no chance.
I’ve also tried without the eMMC attached to the Picofly and nothing happened.
My guess is that the eMMC is dead/corrupted somehow. I’ve ordered a new eMMC from AliExpress and a USB eMMC reader and I got a backup made using SX OS dongle back in time.

This will be my last chance I guess.
Anybody got the same issue ?

I did this for some games that did not give me the "start sofware" option and now i can play them but the pop up asking to update still there.

I originally posted this in the “Portable PegaScape (Win32)” thread:

Solved.

I have updated to 21.1.0 fw both Atmosphere and OFW. Previous installed games ran fine till then but now after replacing older homebrews no games are booting. Some stops at loading screen and often hangs up showing nothing but blanks and had to restart. Tried sys patch latest and still no use.

Yeah I get it but I wanna know what might cause the issues because updating the FW didn't create the issues but updating the homebrews causing the errors. Any help would be appriciated.

Im on firmware 21.1.0

my guess your game update are outdated, without proper blocking on server communication that why you get the game update nag, I have two units, one on 21.1.0 also and one on 20.5.0 with proper exosphere setup I haven't got any update nag. Have exosphere setup, when the next firmware update come out it will stop nagging you if your exosphere is properly setup and serial number blanked out.

Has anyone use a cheap V3 microSD card in their console? I have a legit Sandisk card (red and grey) and recently my console (v1) is ridiculously slow when booting and loading games. Some times it’s laggy in game. I’m thinking of getting a mymemory branded card to see if it helps.

SD card ain't cheap, I mean it got even more pricier with AI.

Hi guys , sorry to ask but i have an issue that i tried to solve to no avail ( switch oled )

I currently have battery desync,
At first my battery has issue which is if i charge not full example (87-99%) the ui it suddenly will change to 100% automatically but it still run and turned off normally at 0%

Then i thought this must be the mismatched and after searching find the battery desync nx

I try to follow the guide there :
Open emummc - charge it to 100% - Open app - reset call - use it till low battery show up

In first step it cause new problem suddenly it shut down at 52% - i keep positive and think its part of process i charge it in hekate with the screen turn off. Btw when its on its already on 52% again. I charge it with saturation (6 hours )

On second cycle it turn off again in 51%

I think there is something wrong here.. is there any step that i misread

Thank you
