Hi all,

I've got an old original launch Switch that's been sitting in a drawer for years, it used to have SXOS installed, and I know it had auto RCM installed because I remember that I didn't need to use the jig in the joycon rail, but I did need a SXOS USB-C dongle, which I don't have anymore. I also don't have the SD card anymore, I must have removed it at some point to use in another device, and I no longer have nand back up or anything like that.

Is it possible to get Atmosphere working on this without the SXOS dongle and SD card with the CFW stuff on it? Where do I start?

Right now it doesn't even boot up, and I know it's because it needs that usb dongle plugged in first, but I'd like to get it back up and running on Atmosphere if can.

Sure, you can use TegraRCMSmash or an android app like Rekado to inject a payload instead of the dongle. It would be recommended to set up an emuMMC.
You can start here: https://switch.hacks.guide/user_guide/rcm/ and you will also need sigpatches (https://github.com/impeeza/sys-patch/releases/) which the guide does not cover.

You can use an Android phone to inject the payload (https://github.com/MenosGrante/Rekado) or a pc, (https://github.com/eliboa/TegraRcmGUI/releases), you can also use this webpage if you dont want to install TegraTCM Gui, (https://webrcm.github.io/).

Next you should format your micro sd card to fat or fat32 (depends on what firmware you are running).

Next install the latest AtmoshphereNX from here - https://github.com/Atmosphere-NX/Atmosphere/releases

You will want to use the fusee.bin on that same page as the payload to launch Atmosphere.

If you want to play unsigned code like NSP/XCI you should also install this:
https://github.com/impeeza/sys-patch

Once you have that up and running, you can install hekate from here:
https://github.com/CTCaer/hekate/releases

Then use that to make an emunand and use hekate.bin as your payload instead of fusee.bin.
