Hey all! I have an Ace3ds X and i really want to run the ds debug cart roms. the roms i have tried are 10.0 from *modsnip* and 6.0 from *modsnip* (idk if this breaks the forums rules for piracy, as these carts were never sold). i have tried nds-bootstrap (which errors) and kernel through twlmenu++, and directly in wood r4 which shows loading (which changes to purple/pink) and then a white top and black bottom screen. i would like to run a version for the lite, but anyone that works is fine. i would be fine buying a cheap flashcart to run it, so if anyone has run them please let me know on what cart and how. thanks!

The Aging Cards are not sold to the public. These were used to test the DS' hardware during the factory process.

From my testing, NDS-Bootstrap doesn't seem to boot these ROMs. You could try it with either Wood or another flashcart using a different kernel to see if it works. Be sure to turn off patching and cheats as this can cause crashing.

Most flashcarts have trouble with these debug roms because they don't have patches to make them work in most cases.

If you are dead set on getting the aging test roms working on hardware, N-Cards are your best bet. I have a few and most of the Aging roms I've tested run fine on them. N-Cards don't use patches and instead remap rom reads on the hardware level so they act just like a retail cart software wise. They are hard to find though but there's a few floating around eBay if you know what to look for. DS Linker, Fire Card, and ExpressCards are a few "clones" that exist. All N-Card clones are the same hardware wise with the software really only differing in branding/UI skinning.

You could try using one of those if you can't get them running on what you have now. There might be other newer flashcarts that run them but I wouldn't know as I haven't messed around with test/debug roms that often. I think DSTWO can run them. Vaguely recall one of them booting on that cart. But your options are few and far between and DSTWOs are getting expensive these days.
