Nintendo Switch firmware 18.1.0 just released, is another rebootless update
A new Nintendo Switch firmware update just landed. System software version 18.1.0 has been released and pushed out to consoles. The contents of the update are fairly minor, to the point of this firmware being a "rebootless" one, meaning the Switch doesn't even need to reboot in order to apply the new changes. According to known scene dataminers, it appears as though the new firmware exists only to add a handful of Japanese phrases to the system's "bad words list".

A rebootless update was released for 18.1.0.
Nintendo updated the Japanese bad words list to block a censor-evading way to write "sixty-nine" (シツクスナイン).
And that's about it.
