So basically, my modded wii u was bugging out wouldnt play any games so i factory resetted it, now when i was done with everything and i set it up again the thing is when i try to open up the Wii U menu it always shows up at the beginning with the "Failed to load sd:/wiiu/payload.elfStarting the console without any modifications" either though the sd card isnt inserted and everything was factory reset, how do i remove it?

I dont think a format removes hacks
^- This. The payload loader is still on the NAND trying to chainload a custom firmware from the SD card but the files are missing from the SD card.

Was probably the exact same reason: Files missing on the SD card (and pirated games). So are you sure you want to remove the CFW instead of fixing it? Your Wii U won't play pirated content without a CFW.

It's possible that this was happening due to the missing 01_sigpatches.rpx file. In case you're still interested in modding your Wii U, go to wiiu/environments/aroma/modules/setup/ on your SD Card and check if that file is there, if not, you can download it from here.
