Just wondering out of curiosity (thankfully): is there any sort of software brick that can't be fixed with NTRBoot? Assuming that the hardware is fine and that the SD card has everything it needs. As far as I know, NTRBoot only relies on the bootrom, which can't be changed, and everything else could be restored with a system backup and GM9. So it should be able to fix any software brick, right?

There are a few edge cases, probably software that can fuck hardware with some flashcards or something I guess? Always be careful with what you install.

No, is a freaking emulator. Of course not every game will work since this is the Nintendo 64. If you have an old 3DS or old 2DS better forget it as they are underpowered for Nintendo 64 emulation. New HD 2DS/3DS are recomended . Also use the Euro roms as they run at a lower framerate so that makes them easier to emulate. You may need a Nintendo 64 bios, get it at the Web archive.
I didn't know the N64 needed a bios, awesome.
and it boots! Thank you!

Most Roms don't need it but just in case.
I see.
I'm running into another issue. I found well a "Prebuilt" version of this one thing, but I'm trying to use PS1 Retroarch to run it, but the prebuilt version runs a lot better than the retroarch version. When I looked in some of the cores I noticed this. It says I'm both missing and having the same cores?

I've noticed this when I've built my own prebuilts as well, I suppose I'm lacking something and I'm not sure what I'm missing here.

I recently bought a 2ds xl and, it comes with digital games... Is there any way to keep these games when changing NNID?

(Hopefully I put this on the right forum site, lol.)

Depends what you mean. Did you buy this used, with someone else's NNID on it already? I've heard you can contact Nintendo and ask them to merge the purchases from two separate NNIDs.

Maybe that was possible before but Nintendo no longer sells 3DS or games for it. So unfortunately that's no longer possible.

Hello everyone, I ask for your help. A day ago, I tried to reformat my N3DS' SD card to fix the issue with GBA Virtual Console games showing an incorrect line at the bottom of the screen.
I copied the contents of the SD, reformated then put everything back.
Now, when I turn on the 3DS, it shows the Arm11 error. I already tried replacing both Luma files and nothing has worked.

I was wondering if maybe I should try buying a new card. Any tips?

How large is your sd card? If it's a +64gb card you'd need to format it as FAT32 64kb cluster size (not 32kb), in order for GBA games to display properly.
I copied the contents of the SD, reformated then put everything back.
Also, i'd suggest checking the sd card for errors with h2testw to make sure it's not faulty or dying. Do the test with the sd card completely empty.

You either didn't format it properly, or the sd card itself is defective. Nevertheless, h2testw should tell you if it's good to use or not.

Does an fps counter exist for luma 3ds? I'm on 11.17 if it makes a difference
Don't think so, no, as there're no need for it (unlike with emulators).

I'm sure I formatted correctly, with cluster size and everything (the card is 128GB).
I'll check with h2testw after work today, thanks for the tip.

CoolMe, it was the SD Card, as suspected. I ended up buying a new one and a spare, just in case. Thanks for the assistance!

Sorry if I derail any conversation but how do I add cheats to any game? I have the latest version of Luma (12.x) and I couldn't find any straightforward answer that allows me to load a cheat engine of some sort.
