Hacking How Do I Put Themes/Skins on R4i Ultra?

Hey everyone. Been trying to skin my r4i ultra. Whenever i copy and paste downloaded R4 themes over to a theme folder, the screens go all pixelated and green and stuff. I'd really appreciate help on how to skin my R4i Ultra.

You probably won't get much support for a fake flashcart. Your best bet is to either go here or here and ask.

I've seen (or rather heard of) this before. Try resaving the BMPs as 16-bit instead of 24-bit. That should fix the imagery glitch.

On a related note, it's also been noted that you can't manually cycle through the themes on the Ultra. Rather, it auto-cycles monthly based on the folder corresponding to the numbered month.

how do you change the image from a 24-bit to a 16 bit anyway? i've tried a few different things but none of them work
