In the lead-up to Sonic Frontiers' launch, SEGA is advertising a special bonus for those that subscribe to the game's official newsletter. The stylish and iconic "SOAP" shoes from Sonic Adventure 2 will be making a return in Sonic Frontiers, as free DLC. In order to equip Sonic with the shoes, you'll need to sign up for the Sonic Frontiers newsletter, and after the game launches on November 8th, you'll receive an email with an in-game code you can use.

This feels desperate. :-|

The game isn't even out and Sega's already doing fan-service as DLC for the game.

I hope they get the gameplay right.
They had a few years with Super Mario Odyssey to learn a thing or two about 3D dinamics...

But will there be anywhere to actually grind in the game? Since that's the whole point of those shoes.
I thought the soap shoes were removed in the remasters for PS3 etc, because they didn't have the license anymore/soap shoes didn't exist anymore.
Still cool either way!

Grind rails are in Forces so no worries there. From what I remember, he still wears the shoes in the 2012 remaster but they got rid of all the in-game advertisements.

This is exactly the kind of fan-service DLC I live for. Sonic Adventure 2 Battle is one of my all-time favorite games.

😐 The game isn't even out so they could just include it than DLC everything.

It doesn't look promising for Frontiers which Sega has been defending hard. I just hope it's not another failure like Forces.

Honestly, I’m not even looking it all that deeply. It’s a cool bonus that they decided to add. Yeah, the way they went about it is super obtuse but they could’ve just not done anything, or you know charged money for it. I dunno, I tend to be more of a “glass half full” kind of guy.

Is it safe to delete the entire atmosphere folder? I don't remember what else was there, like edizon and tesla menu are installed through atmosphere, is it not a problem, will I not damage the system? There were too many mods, I won’t be able to contact each one, nothing was said about deleting in the description.
