Hello guys, can you give me some hints for migrating from sxos with 9.1 ofw to atmosphere with 14.1 or 14.0 with saving my games progress, i don't have emunand just sysnand, tks a lot
Make a copy of your Sysnand before you do anything.

You will want to backup all your save games by installing JKSV

Then take a look at this to get started https://rentry.org/SwitchHackingIsEasy
(reminder…follow the backup instructions)

After you’ve read/done everything on the first page go here for your use case: https://rentry.org/mys8q

So i wanted to launch my switch into atmosphere, but there is a fatal error.
It says that I have the incorrect fusee version, but I updated it and Atmosphere too.
It says: (program=0xb6b6ac70, mtc=0xb46dcf71)
Can someone help me?

Oh and I can't bot my switch into rcm or even just turn it off and boot it normally.
Check this out https://rentry.org/SwitchHackingIsEasy

Specifically the part where you need to download fusee.bin by itself from the same place you downloaded Atmosphere and put it in /bootloader/payloads/

Hello.
Another set of noob questions.
What info does BOOT0 and BOOT1 binary files contains? What are they used for? Who/what uses them?

@Tamamo_0said

So, I have a switch, and I use reinx 3.0 and the firmware of the switch being 10.0.4.
I've been using reinx for about 3 years, and I haven't had any major problems with it,
Since I can install new games using Tinfoil and Nut,
Being able to put in my own custom theme using NXThemes,
So I never thought anything upgrading or changing to another cfw.
Are you on V1 (Erista) or V2 (Mariko)?
With my firmware being this low, apparently the new games that I want to play,
Like Pokemon Arceus, Kirby the forgotten land, and Atelier Sophie 2,
Are unable to launch.
did you upgrade Firmware? You are probably going to need to upgrade your firmware.

Only other way would be to repack your NSPs with a lower required FW version.
I've tried putting an Atmosphere cfw in,
With the version 1.3.1, which at the time of this writing is the latest version.
And I have had no luck,
As all the applications/games on my switch won't open with the cfw booted with Atmosphere 1.3.1.
And I booted it all using Hekate and Nyx, the latest versions at the time of this writing, of course.
did you grab latest Sigpatches from one of these places?

Sigpatches (GBATemp) — alternative Sigpatches for when others don’t seem to work.
Sigpatches — get your iTotalJustice Sigpatches here (with free instructions!)
I've tried using both Awoo v1.3.4 and Tinfoil v11/Nut v3.3 in the firmware versions 10.0.4 and 14.1.0,
But to no avail, they either didn't boot,
Or spat out an error.
probably Sigpatches rather than installer. we can focus on one.
I tried installing the Konosuba game that was recently released,
I had absolutely no problem with installing that,
And it ran completely fine on reinx on the firmware 10.0.4,
So I'm completely stumped.

Would anyone be able to give me a solution to this please?

Sure you can do it with Daybreak under CFW/Sysnand, but if your Sysnand is clean then contacting Ninty to do updates is not only fine, it’s recommended.

Alternatively, it doesn’t sound like you do much with Sysnand anyway (which is correct practice) so why the bother to do it now?
Thanks for the reply Bink! I figured it would also be good practice to keep it up to date and not let it get too late. I don't think I have ever done anything on my sysnand that would ban me from nintendo, but now wondering if it's worth the risk. Also, don't know if I would have to mess too much with my dns90 settings. Do you just keep your sysnand OFW out of date?

(truth: If you are already banned…you are already banned. Nothing will change that.)

I personally do all sorts of weird stuff with my Sysnand so it never matches either of my Emunands. I have a clean backup that I restore to in the event I need to go online with it.

here’s some good reading on the topic:

https://gbatemp.net/threads/nintendo-switch-banning-hub-warning.508710/

Bottom Line: If you don’t use your Sysnand for anything then it doesn’t matter what version it’s on. It will have no impact on your Emunand .

I don't think I have been banned, I have only ever used my switch on dns90 or airplane mode. I guess I will keep my OFW at 10. Keep my CFW up to date. Thanks for the advice bink.

Is sharing MicroSD card with CFW/emuMMC across switches possible?

On Switch #1: I created a fully working emuMMC (using Hekate) on a MicroSD card. I can boot fine into atmosphere and play games. That means, when selecting boot from CFW emuMMC in Hekate, Hekate logo is displayed, Atmosphere logo is displayed, Nintendo logo is displayed and I end up in the main menu.
My assumption is, that ALL data needed to operate the switch is taken from the MicroSD (FW in emuMMC, saves, titles, etc.). So I assume I can use that card in another switch (both first-gen switch consoles).

If I put that MicroSD card into the Switch #2 and select boot from CFW emuMMC in Hekate, i briefly see Hekate logo and then the screen goes blank. Seems that Atmosphere is not booting.

I tried using emuMMC partition based and file based. I tried creating the emuMMC on either switch, #1 (9.0.1 FW) and #2 (13.2.1 FW) and tried to run it on the other console.

For the records (that should not be important, since the system is completely taken from emuMMC?)
Switch #1 FW 9.0.1, XAJ400005 serial
Switch #2 FW 13.2.1, XAJ70038 serial
Hekate 5.7.2, Atmosphere 1.3.1

What I am trying to accomplish: Use the same save states across two switch consoles without fiddling around using export/import tools.

An Emunand is tied to the Switch. You can't share them.

For game saves you can use JKSV or Checkpoint on your Switch or you can use NXNandmanager on your PC.

Ever since upgrading to AMS 1.3.1 and OFW 14.1.0 using the new fusee.bin as the payload, with the ITotalJustice sigpatches, any time I install a game over USB using the newest version of DBI and then check for corruption after in System Settings -> Data Management -> Manage Software, it always shows corrupt. Any idea what's wrong? Is DBI broken right now? I use to use Awoo Installer for installation over USB, but that one gave me problems a few OFW back so I switched to DBI. Is there a better installer for installing over USB now? I don't think the nsp and xci files I have are corrupt since they have worked great in the past and anything I installed before the 1.3.1/14.1.0 updates still checks out fine when I check for corruption.

Or do the newest ITotalJustice sigpatches need OFW 14.1.1 possibly? I'm using vanilla atmosphere through fusee.bin on NAND since I hacked my Switch way before AMS supported emuNAND.

I used DBI‘s USB function to install just last night on 1.3.1 and 14.1.1 with no issues. All installers I test and use (tinfoil, Tinwoo, goldleaf) are working great. Very few programs were impacted by the update. Things like Mission Control, Fizeau and Status Monitor Overlay had some changes thrust upon them but by and large it was a quick and clean update. Hopefully that lays some fears to rest.

I’m wondering if maybe your sd card is starting to have issues?
Can you install using network or sd card?
Othello.nsp is a small game that you can use to run some quick tests: usb, sd card, network installs.

I have just had my Switch in Airplane mode since I got it, never tried network installs. Are those sigpatches ok to use with a vanilla Atmosphere install (eg using fusee.bin)? I try to keep the minimum possible CFW installation (no hekate, no extra apps other than DBI, daybreak, and retroarch) to have the minimal possible maintenance when I don't care about emuNAND, themes, cheats, etc and just want to play games in SP and that's it. I'll try installing a small game, BRB.

absolutely. There is no Hekate vs Fusee anymore. Just one size fits all.
