Way to, permanently, homebrew a vita "without" a psn account?

I have been searching about this for hours. Have a vita 2000. I tried QCMA, CMA, wifi, usb, add this, delete that, restart, saw reddit posts saying the QCMA offline setting would do it, etc. Nothing. It just seeps saying to sign up.

Any here have an, actual, answer on if it's possible to "not" sign up for an account. If so, do you have detailed instructions?

If you know someone with a hacked Vita, they can put the required software on an official memory card and then make it not be attached to their account. Then you can access the card without an account and use the software.

Do you know anyone with a hacked Vita?

What is the problem you are having? Your Vita isn't appearing in hencore on the computer? Or you can't log in on the Vita? Or you don't want to or can't make a fake account?

I can understand. If you register a fake account, downgrade and then wipe it will be on 3.6 with no account. you can then hack from the web browser without an account and remain accountless.

Oops, exactly what compsciorbust said
Do you not want to sign up or is it that you can't sign up? If it's the former you could make a throw away account, downgrade to 3.65 so that you can install Enso, then factory reset to remove the account.

I don't want to sign up for any more of their accounts. I had a Vita TV sitting around and just thinking about what I had to go through to remove that account fries my nerves.

I was looking at something called Vitadeploy that uses Henkaku, but I haven't done any research on Enso, yet. Though I think I saw something about an Enso EX brick.

Regular Enso is 100% safe. The only reports of bricks they had was when people were updating their vitas (which would wipe enso) then trying to remove enso from the Installer which obviously caused issues since Enso wasn't installed. They've added extra checks to the installer which prevents you from trying to do that now. I haven't used Enso EX but I wouldn't go near it. SKGleba is a smart guy but I doubt his version has been tested anywhere near as much as Team Molecule's.

It has been a long time since I've used a vita but iirc factory resetting will wipe the account from the device. If you have nothing else on it that you care about then that seems like the easiest way to do it.

Edit: Depending on which version you downgrade to you will want to use a different version of Enso.

Following as I'm concerned about servers/apps properly shutting down Sony end and not being able to sign in to hack a vita I have in storage.

Please keep this updated ?

you could see if you can get any info on henlo. I'm not sure what it is beyond that I think it's a browser hack like henkaku. it was created by theflow after he retired from the ps4 scene, but I've found no real info on it.

@Xdqwerty, People who create revival services for the Wii end up in disaster, same goes for Pretendo lol.

@SylverReZ, atleast wiimmfii went fine although people only use it for Mario kart Wii

At least if they ban you for cheating, get another Wii. They're cheap as chips.

Remember when RiiShop was a thing?

    not really

It got shutdown because somebody "accidentally" leaked the database for the amount of people using the beta.

RiiShop is the laziest way of downloading Wii games. Did somebody not think of this through?
  • BakerMan @ BakerMan:
although i ended up accidentally changing my nand with no way of going back bc i didn't know you needed a gamecube controller to restore it (i have a wii minus/1.1, which doesn't have gamecube controller support)
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@BakerMan, I think you're talking about the recovery mode that the SaveMii used, and also was to restore softbricked systems.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
If your NAND was hardbricked, then just buy another Wii. Or go with the dirty NAND flasher method.
  • BakerMan @ BakerMan:
and if i find the sd card i have my NAND backed up on, i can not only restore the NAND if i solder the right part in, but i can also put my NAND on dolphin, then i can play dolphin online, like PMEX Remix or MKWii Riibalanced

    Brb
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@BakerMan, Oh yeah, that was a thing too. Dolphin does support Wiimmfi.
  • BakerMan @ BakerMan:
yeah you just need to put your NAND backup with wiimmfi on it
  • BakerMan @ BakerMan:
ngl i feel like if a bunch of my friends have wiis and know how to get wiimmfi and back up their NAND, then we could do a PMEX Remix tournament
  • BakerMan @ BakerMan:
maybe even add UMVC3/DBFZ and make it a biathlon/triathlon
