Can't Sync Vita Trophies

I just got a Vita, Enso etc all set up. I made a new PSN account recently just for trophies. But lately I can't sign into the PSN whether from the website as I did when I created it, or the Vita. On the website, it always times out. On the Vita, it insists the password is wrong (possibly a default error that assumes the user's wrong). Previously, the website would say the password was wrong. Request a reset, and it's like "You can't use your old password" (What?). Circular. Seems there's a database disconnect. If the PSN is gone, will there be an alternate server to sync trophies to? Or any solution to this?

You'll have to create a devive setup password in security settings to log in. This is necessary for all vitas and PS3s going forward as the account password will say it's incorrect even when it's right due to how Sony set things up.

I've done 3 sets of 15 "Move the person to the right row" anti-bot puzzles and then nothing happens. So frustrating. Why's this device thing necessary anyway?

It's supposed to create a password to use to sign in on vita or ps3

They're getting really descriptive here. I'm tempted to try Tech Support. This level of customer service is criminal.

It's definitely strange! Maybe try a different browser? I usually do it within the playstation app, and it works without issue or try again after some time, perhaps there's still an issue with the servers that hasn't been resolved yet if that fails then yeah I'd contact tech support to see what's going on.

Finally got it. Device password was the thing. Seemed to be firewall issues or something. Or just bad luck. Think my trophies are glitched though. I'm Lv30+ after only 1 Platinum? That shouldn't get me past Lv3 if I remember right. Did the algorithm change in the last 10 or so years?
