Hi!
I'm wondering if there is any clean way to migrate a savefile from a clean switch to a hacked one (cfw on stock nand if that's important). I'm wondering if there is any risk by using the 9.0 save transfer feature (in theory I'm blocking all conections to nintendo servers), or any other way to do it. Has anyone got any experience with this process?

If your unhacked Switch is unpatched (that means you can run Hekate) then you can use Hekate to create a dump of the internal NAND.
Using a different SD card to boot Hekate should leave no traces in the logs.
After dumping the NAND, you can mount it to a PC, extract the save games and transfer them to the hacked Switch.

There is no way to transfer without risking a ban.

two ways I know of is 1, copying the saves from tegraexplorer then decrypting them or 2. making an emunand (delete all your connections first as you don't want the emunand connecting to the internet without proper protection) then dumping the saves from that. neither of these will get you banned but atleast require usage of RCM

Just load CFW on sysnand and inject kacked save with JKSV.

Do that offline.

I do this for 2 years now and still didn't got banned, i did it for PKMN and ACNH with no ban at all, even played online with both save , edited mon on PKMN and edited map in ACNH.

Yep, using cfw for things like this is mostly safe, did it myself too (though I'm 24/7 online with cfw anyway). Even transferring a splatoon save game this way is safe, as long as you don't modify it in between.
You don't even need to be offline for that, if you never installed NSPs or xcis on that nand,
you just need to make sure to not create potential problems in the future, by enabling unrecommended options like prodinfo blanking on sysnand.
Best just put stock atmosphere on it from github instead of an SD pack, boot it via fusee or hekate, and use it with the default settings.
If you are in a state allowing for cfw online, the transfer tool from nintendo should also work without a problem.

I also helped a person with a banned and an mariko switch in the past to transfer save games via nintendos cloud, but this way also requires a person with an online cfw setup, is limited to games supporting the cloud save (so no splatoon or animal crossing) and most importantly it requires the cfw person to log into their account, so if you need a third party for it, only do this with friends you trust.

all this methods involve running homebrew on the unhacked unit which is not possible at the moment:
Original save data comes from patched mariko unit (no modchip), destination would be an unpatched v1 unit which is where I'm running all the homebrew.

is that even possible without using Nintendo's cloud share feature? I'm assuming I won't get banned on the mariko switch but wonder if there is any way to check if I'm already banned in the hacked one without risking it

Yeah, on an unmodded switch you need to use nintendos services, so you will need to connect online with both.
About testing if you are banned, I think there is now way besides just connecting to the internet.
Most of the time bans aren't instant anyway, so even if there is banwothy stuff on your cfw switch(like homebrew nsps) you will still be able to transfer your data, if you are not banned currently.
If you never used prodinfo blanking or homebrew nsps, and never went online in pirated games, the switch is probably save anyway.
If you did the prodinfo blanking, it might or might not be save, but you need to make sure it's disabled, before trying to transfer the data to the unhacked switch.
If you already went online while in pirated/backup games, you are probably already banned, and if you installed homebrew nsps you will probably be banned in the near future after going online with that switch.

That sounds like the chance of a ban would be very high, while it is very low in praktice, at least if they kept the nand mostly clean, so no nsps and xcis, and no prodinfo blanking.
Not necessarily. Nobody has conducted any statistical analysis on ban causes so nobody can definitively say which causes have higher chances than others. Plus I stray away from injecting any probability when discussing bans due to the aforementioned statement.

If the chance was really as high, as many people make it out here(or what it sound like if you say you cant go online without risking a ban), I think the reswitched team would have confirmed cases by now.
But the current status quo from the side of the atmosphere team is:
Its confirmed that homebrew nsp, detectable piracy (like trying to play online in pirated/backed up games), changing the user icon, and doing weird requests to nintendos servers with console unique data is a guranteed ban.
Modding or cheating in online games (except for some special cases) and clearing error logs that are already send to nintendos servers are liekly a ban.
Atmosphere, most homebrew, custom themes, custom systemmodules, mods cheating in offline games and emummc are not banned for yet.
And I trust the atmosphere devs far more, then I trust gbatemp, especially since they use it online themself.

This also fits with my own experience btw, though its with a very small sample size on my side with only 6 or more switches that I helped to mod. There was not a single ban yet, while multiple of them are running for far over a year now, always in CFW and normaly online. If there was really a high chance Users getting banned from just cfw, at least one of them would have probably been banned by now.
