Hello Team,

I recently installed the Homebrew app to soft mod my WIi U. I did not back up my Nand and someone else attempted to delete the system files without knowing of the consequences. Are there any hard mod fixes or other options to fix this bricked device? Thank you for your help!

The opt.bin would have been saved from this device or can I get it from another device?
if you've never performed a Nand Tools backup in the past (Prior to the 160-0101 error), then there's no way currently that you'll be able to fix your issue without the opt.bin file as this error will prevent you from loading anything else at this point (this includes any sort of hardmodding) .. sorry dude - it's a permanent brick :(

You: 0
WiiU: 1

Accept your loss, get another WiiU console.
But keep the bricked device for the case a boot time exploit shows up.

I did not back up my Nand…
%§$/&§% Why??? There is a reason why you should backup data in general.
and someone else attempted to delete the system files without knowing of the consequences.
Someone deletes system files and expected it to have no negative effect?
🤦‍♀️
