I personally don't care for actual cheats that absolutely break the game but I do like "unlocking" temporary characters permanently, NPC characters that normally arnt playable through normal means, and items that your normally cant obtain. to give some examples of what I mean I was able to use Hyne to edit my FF8 save to "unlock" Edea, Seifer, Laguna, Kiros, and Ward all who are normally only temporary characters. in Borderlands 2 using Gibbed I was able to add the normally unobtainable (outside of steam) Evil Ash head (known in game as Guy With The Gun).

there doesn't seem to be much that offers those options outside of those games even though Mk11 for example has multiple NPC such as Cyrax, Sektor, and Kronika. Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 has multiple unplayable NPC such as bosses (which should be able to be swapped like previous games) as well as basically party guest characters like Thane. Kakarot has many NPC such as most of the villains as well as "partner" characters such as Tien, Yamcha, and Krillin. the "warriors" series of games all have unplayable NPCs mostly Villians. FF9, FF10, FF12, Grandia, Xenoblade 1 and Xenoblade 2 all have temporarily playable Guest characters

just a few example there are many more but wondering why nobody seems to be interested in stuff like this and rather cheats that break games such as infinite anything cheats

I don't get it, what's your question here?
I presume the OP wants more play as boss/npc type cheats, and play content otherwise present in the game but gated off for certain bonuses/preorders/whatever. Instead appears to be lamenting everybody mostly going in for boring and basic infinite ammo/gold/potions/health/mana... type cheats.

A reasonable observation (assuming the lack of such things is true) I guess. Sometimes such cheats and mods are harder to do (play as boss/npc usually is saved for things like fighting games and racing games where you select a character, unlike gold where you can spend one, search, spend one, search... until you get it then play as tends to involve you playing on character selection* and possibly starting matches which makes it a more tedious search.
Things gated off for preorder or something tend to be within the game still (all the other players if multiplayer will have to be able to see it, and might be able to pick it up even if they can't have it in their loadout, and even if just singleplayer then it is often easier to hide it and make it inaccessible by normal means) so that can get things unlocked if you want to go there.

*some will do it just with the cursor, some will need you to confirm selection, some will need you to actually proceed to start the match/race/level/... Find the number that corresponds to the selected character and try things outside the range you can get from the menus. Normally is it just after the basic range, but sometimes bosses are at the end of the range and sometimes it is without any great reason so you get to try numbers in the whole range to see what goes.

yes basically content you can't normally access which is something I've always been personally interested in but there seems to be close to zero interest for it on switch even though most of the things I've mentioned have been done on other devices. you would think people would want more playable characters or to test out characters you could never control otherwise for example Malos in Xenoblade Chronicles 2 who is temporarily in your party but uncontrollable.
