Hi! Your editor works very well, I didn't have any corruption so far (well it can't check up for updates (it's in 4.0.0 omicron) and errors but apart from that it's fine). I do have a couple questions (I did read a couple comments here, but 47 pages it way too much so sorry if I'm saying things people already said):
- is it possible to access hidden taste data, like the other foods characters like a little, find decent or not really great that aren't on the list, the affinity level and prediction (that is on the board and don't depend on the relationship), the character's likes and dislikes in term of clothes and decoration?
are there items (food, clothing,....) that are either hidden and never really part of an uncheated game, or incorrectly programmed items, null entries and stuff that the devs made unaccessible in an uncheated game? (I just remembered about the website of The Cutting Room Floor and actually they didn't leave unused content like that))
- I'm experimenting on same gender attraction and attraction without a birth date, so far I did see two men in the same room with hearts but that's all, I wonder what will happen (and I kept untouched saves just in case), are they going to get married? Will they have a baby???
- also I don't know if I should modify the relationship type before or after setting a behaviour (like asking the player 'I want to tell ___ my feelings, how do I do that?', so I only changed the relationship and I'll see if they do something)
- concerning datas like the affinity check, I did set two characters as in love with each other, but in game the affinity check said there was no hope so apparently it's not enough.
- do you have somewhere the list of the fountain events, hats/clothes/interiors, the way the island address function (like what number is it for popcorn sea??), so I'd check myself which number is what?
- I noted that if I try to set a song before I made a save file on it (like a ballad group song when there's not even a group that can do ballads) it's totally useless because the game will overwrite it as soon as you'll try to set it in game. That's not really a question or a complaint, it's just so other users know not to waste their time.
- next to the "island name" part there is a button which says "NDS - A button", what is it for?
- note: in order to avoid completing the collection of all items, I made a separate save file where I gave myself everything, then I gave miis the clothes and appartment decoration I wanted, then I pulled out qr codes I injected in a save where I didn't unlock all the items.
anyway thanks for this awesome tool!
edit: with some experimentations, I think I can safely say that the friendship/love and taste for the middle category of food written on the mii's profile, those aren't doing much. You might try to change the relationship between two characters, but the data that is revealed on the affinity test is the one that controls if they really can be in a stable relationship. No matter what you write in the middle section of the food, your character might just think it's "not bad", then if you make them eat something else they really like (not "OMG best food ever" but still very happy) then they'll write that above what you edited in the save editor.
I got some corrupted datas when I tried to make an extra long song and changed randomly the clothings numbers on some characters, idk what exactly caused it and it doesn't really matter.
I also tried to change my island address with the one of another save (I just copied pasted the number), but it didn't work, the game still gave the same address to my island.
Note: I tried to make a mii without a birth date confess her love, after I successfully made her relationship with a birthdate-less man as "sincere love", but as soon as I injected the save back to the game and started playing, the game just erased the interaction and played normally. They're both adults.
I suppose then these couples will never confess, marry or have a child, probably same would go for the lesbians and gays. They still spend time in each other's rooms, looking at each others with hearts.
The positive thing is, since they don't have a birth date, they won't fall in love with other people. and I bet they can't fight with their lover. Also, if I try to make them feel more than "in love" (for instance "very much in love", want to get married") the game will put them back to "in love". I'll try to force them into a marriage after a marriage naturally happened once between my hetero couples with birth dates.
