This is a short guide I wrote a while back but never uploaded. Works with miis that have lotsa makeup.
It seems to break saves on console if you import more than 10 Miis, but it doesn't have any problems on an emulator.
So far, you can only use the one @Brion made unless someone researches the save file format and makes a better one.
You will need:

  • A Miitopia Save File
    • Requires a hacked switch, or you could just use mine
  • A MiitopiaMiA file (getting this is shown in the first few steps)
  • Something to run the save file program
Extracting Miis:
1) Immediately rename all miis so that each mii has a different name. If there are two miis with the same name, those miis will be overwritten in a future step.
I didn't do this at first and it replaced both miis with the same mii (In Yuzu/Eden, all no names will become that specific mii)
2) Extract Miitopia switch data
3) Load up the janky Switch save editor
4) Select the save file you want to edit
5) Select "Transfer Mii"
6) Click on the long list a specific mii
7) Press the button on the left to export the miitopiaMia file

To overwrite a mii:
1) Repeat steps 1 through 6 in the previous instructions.
2) Find the .miiA file you need and select it. Keep in mind this will overwrite all miis with that specific name.
