Wanted to ask this here too cause now I'm mighty confused.
Went on a Switch hacking discord server and people were arguing that Incognito or exosphere-based blanking may be even worse than nothing and that DNS redirection (Atmosphere's or 90DNS) is sufficient to prevent bans. The rationale was that if the values are cached anywhere else on the the device, it would be enough info to say that the Switch was tampered with and that communication with Nintendo servers is blocked regardless.
Is this true? My haunch was that at least prodinfo blanking provides some redundancy, you know, just in case.
