the only way I know of to enter the vwii from boot is cbhc, but as I said in the other thread, the wii u needs to work. you posted this in the cbhc brick guide, so I assume that's not an option?

Hello everyone hope y'all are safe and healthy! I'm relieved to come across this site and the awesome work y'all of you have put into it. I'm new to all this so don't go easy on me, I repeat DON'T.

I did a NoNo and only realized after I'd done it... I bought a used Wii U for $150 two days ago. It's perfect, I successfully installed the homebrew channel and some apps including but not limited to Haxchi and CBHC. I had the excellent idea of factory reseting the system to remove the previous owners nintendo account as opposed to doing that before modding...

Fortunately this man from youtube condones Nand Backups before anything to prevent sadness and tears I hope; .

These are all the settings I selected using NAND Dumper app before it all went wrong... I'm a noob, but I can usually figure stuff out, mostly after it's late but not too much... Hopefully

Dump SLC (528MB) : yes
Dump SLCCMPT (528MB) : yes
Dump MLC (8/32GB) : no
Dump OTP (1KB) : yes
Dump SEEPROM (1KB) : yes

I am worried Dump MLC is indispensable since I didn't have the patience to wait for it, but if not I really don't mind since I reset the system anyway

I have it ready to go under the microscope with my trusty hakko micro soldering iron, just about to press the purchase button for a teensy ++ 2.0 and the little voltage regulator. I've done the studying on Kaflukes brilliant guide and I'm confident enought to pull it through.


Please let me know if I have a solution or if I have a solution

Is the SLC backup is before installing CBHC? If yes, you can just flash it.
If no, you will have to use my CBHC remover on your slc backup, and than flash it.
Just backup the slc that you are going to write over before doing it.

It seems incredible but I've found a welder who can take care of the work, the only thing, he asks me for the Teensy to come already programmed, is there a problem if I run NANDway_SignalBoosterEdition.hex on the Teensy before the welder has modified the voltage?

You can use external voltage - two aaa battery or cr2032, or specific power supply.

The purpose of this thing is to restore the Nand backup. Why should it wipe the internal memory?

This makes no sense. You already have haxchi with coldboothax. Why do you need haxchi a second time?

I think he means forwarders of VC injected games. He needs TeconMoon's WiiVC Injector.

No. He wants to install haxchi a second time on a new ds vc game. On a system which runs cbhc already perfectly.

I know it is useless but I also need it to do some experiments, I think it is safe because it does not touch the vc game on which I have installed cbhc
