Just updated atmosphere to 0.18.1, updated sigpatches too. The games work properly but tinfoil and other homebrew apps won't open from the main menu. I can open some from the homebrew menu and they work. But the ones that only open from the main menu like tinfoil don't. I already deleted tinfoil and tried reinstalling to no avail. No tinfoil mean I can't install the other homebrew/modded apps like youtube. Does any one have any idea of what's going on?

I recommend switching to TinWoo installer instead as it is an evolution of an already great title installer known as Awoo Installer.

The sigpatches need to be updated everytime a new atmosphere/fw is released or they are useful only for a specific version of atmosphere?

Loader needs new one for each Atmosphere build, FS and ES require new patches when newer firmware are out.

I recommend switching to TinWoo installer instead as it is an evolution of an already great title installer known as Awoo Installer.

I downloaded TinWoo as instructed and installed the NSP's from there. But they don't seem to be working either. It just says the "unable to start software" message. Games still work so I am confused as to why the homebrew doesn't work.

Hello everyone.Im pretty much new on installing Atmosphere and I was wondering if you can still use the eshop and link my nintendo account while using cfw.The reason Im asking this is because I bought a unpatched switch and mainly want to use cheats on offline single player games

I would say no, you will be banned quickly if you try. You can with OFW but not while on/ using CFW, or shouldn't anyways.

I see.So the only way is to create a profile first,buy any games I want then do the cfw installation

If you truly value going online and playing online, then don't hack/ install CFW at all, odds are you will be eventually be banned going online with CFW, or even with OFW after you've installed CFW, but esp if you try to play pirated games online...You can create a EMUNAND and it helps with the precautions...read this first.

When you boot to Hekate menu, try selecting "Payloads" then select "Fusee-Primary"...see if that helps

Actually, it’s the “other way around”. I you launch album under Atmosphere, you ARE in Applet mode (marked red on the top of the screen), and if you need Full Ram access then you use the R trigger. The way you need to launch an application is always indicated in the readme of the app, not in a guide. Always read the readme of an app .

If you can browse the NAS, you could go for the NS-USBLoader on PC and Awoo Installer on the Switch.

I used to install my games with NUT, but in the end, I change for the above combination because that way you could install multiple games , while in NUT you need to doit manually one by one.



I might be wrong but... As far as I know, the hack resides on the micro SD card, once you formatted the card you lost the hack, so what you need to do is go to sdsetup dot com and select everything but the linux packages. Wait for the zip tp be created and then download it and uncompress it.

Then format your micro SD card as FAT32, copy (not move) the contents of the zip into the card, put it on the switch, and restart into RCM. Go to the zip folder, PC folder, TegraRCMGUI and run TegraRCMGUI, go to the settings tab and install driver. Restart Windows. After restart run TegraRCMGUI again, select paylooad, select hekate from the payloads folder, connect the switch ready on RCM mode, if everything is right, the red "screen" on the lower left corner of TegraRCMGUI should change to green and say: RCM OK. Press inject payload.

Once the switch has boot into Hekate, go to Tools, then Backup eMMC, make a full backup (Backup eMMC BOOT0 & BOOT1; and Backup eMMC RAW GPP). This is going to take a while so go for a coffee/cig break, it's going to be a 29 Gigs backup. When it's done, take the card out of the switch, put it again on the computer and copy the backup folder and later be sure to copy again into a flashdrive, external HDD, uploaded online. I might be wrong but the Nintendo Switch it's pretty much like the Motorola Milestone, as long as you have this backup safe you can't really brick it. Be sure to copy the folder out of the card because you are going to lose everhing inside the card in the next step.

Put back the card into the Switch, go to Hekate, tools, select Arch bit, RCM, Touch, Partitions, select Partition SD Card. In the next screen the rd bar emuMMC (RAW) should stay at mid (29 GB). Select Next Step to begin the partitioning. When it's done, select Close, and then Home.

Select emuMMC, create emuMMC, in the next screen select SD Partition (if it fails select SD File). Select the part tha shows up in the next screen (usually it's the 1). When it's done select Close.

Select Change emuMMC. select SD RAW 1, it should say Enabled with a green check. When it's done select close.

Turn off the Switch retrieve the card, put it on the PC, copy the contents of the zip again, turn on the Switch on RCM again, select the payload fusee-primary and inject it.

When the switch starts select Atmosphere and that's it. If everything it's ok your Switch should boot into Armosphere 0.18.

Why are you doing all this?, because on the Switch the hack it's on the micro SD Card, when you formatted you lost the hack so you needed to rehack it.

As I say before, I might be wrong, and maybe there is a fastest way to do this but I think this is the safest.

Thank you so much Ashir! I’m successfully at the partitioning stage and will add any questions I have (hopefully none if it goes well!). I needed to go back and partition the sd card by using tegra explorer before your steps. I think reformatting it from exfat to fat32 solved the issues initially.

Why the partitioning with tegra explorer?, the only partitioning you need it's done inside amosphere/hekate, the 29 gigs partition...

Yeah I might have messed up because now I have three partitions: 16mb unallocated, 30gb fat32 and 29gb. But when I tried to follow the steps to making the emuMMC everything was greyed out and I couldn’t select anything until I went back and partitioned with tegra explorer. Can I just delete a partition or should I start from the beginning?
