yes i downloaded the fusee primary of 0.16.1 aswell

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

maybe 0.16.1 has a bug...or i have bad luck

Not sure since 0.16.0 and 0.16.1 are in pre release state, so people will expect bugs, Two previous posts on Atmosphere github asking about
Fatal error: [NXBOOT] Couldn't parse boot0: I/O error!
never got answered.

Ok this is very complicated to me... is there a guide which helps me to boot Atmosphère 0.16.1 with TegraRCM GUI?

You put the Atmosphere files on the SD card, and inject the fusee-primary.bin on Tegrarcm gui.

so 1) extract atmosphere-0.16.1-prerelease-1ec2c0c2+hbl-2.4.0-prerelease+hbmenu-3.4.0-prerelease.zip
to the root of the sd card?

2) inject the fusee-primary.bin on Tegrarcm gui.
it should boot and work as with sx os?

Though if I understand correctly this will not run backups, and things like that. Right?

So I also have to use the patches from this thread? Is that also compatible with 0.16.1?

Atmosphere requires patches to run backup so you need to look for them, SX has them build into their build so you don't have to look for it when using SX OS. You need 11.0.1 version of the patches.

i have a nandbackup of 10.2 but my fuses are burnt

I believe you can downgrade to one lower firmware, but you would have to use like Hekate to boot everytime.

You set up autoboot if you are using Hekate as your autoboot, you can chainload into fusee-primary.bin to load Atmosphere.

Yes that should be good enough, use the fusee one.

Well it seems to work, I booted with fusee-primary.bin instead of the usual sx payload.bin and no issues so far.
I see the games, and even my saved games load fine. Thanks for the help.

Though xci will not work this way, right?
What is the preferred application to install these days? Is it Tinfoil? Does that also work on 11.0.1 already? Can it install xci or only nsp? (if only nsp, that is fine too, though). Also is it possible to install from pendrive these days? I remember in the past only SX could do that.

How about Tinleaf? Is that good?

No XCI mounting for Atmosphere. Should be able to use tinfoil fine.

If using just Atmosphere payload, is there a way to select weather to boot into EmuNAND or SYSNand? or is Hekate needed to do this??

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Ok yes they were both made by Rare, but DK was from Rare back then, Rare now is owned by MS. So makes since.
