Hacking Question I just bought a unpatched switch i think!

So i ordered a unpatched switch the serial in the system info says its not patched according to ismyswitchpatched. Can I update my switch right now or no. Its on 4.1.0 so i do not know if its not patched like I can hack it only on this version and if so can i update it after i hack it or always keep it on 4.1.0 or does it matter?

For fusee glee exploit you don't need a specific fw version. Here is a guide that explains it and you can follow this for hacking your Switch.

SysNAND (without CFW) from the Nintendo method and EmuNAND is with Atmosphere.

In SysNAND without CFW yes and in EmuNAND with protection (look at the guide for more info.). In emuNAND you shouldn't play online.

You can either stay on 4.1.0, use pegascape and run cfw on emummc or update to whatever you want and use fusee gelee however you want.

With pegascape you don't need jig and injecting payload via usb.
