Crash Bandicoot 4 is getting a demo, starting today, but it will only be available for certain individuals. Activision is offering a demo that contains three levels and two playable characters, though you can only access the demo if you pre-order the game digitally on PlayStation 4 or Xbox One. The demo's levels include Dino Dash, Snow Way Out, and a level where you get to play as Cortex, in his own variation of Snow Way Out. If you can't get your hands on the demo, you'll be able to play the game, when it launches next month, on October 2nd.

Why call it a "demo" if it's not going to be publicly available (and they will get shit on for it)? Why not call it "exclusive preview" and make it sound like they're giving people a bonus?

Demos are usually made so people can try the game before buying it or even make a pre-order, not the oposite lol.

Anyway, that game series has never been something I'm aking to play at all, but the racing one on the PSX was a very good one I must say, too bad all the next iterations were just crap.

Is a PS4 game, of course it will get pirated, even if you won't be able to play it in a hacked PS4 until they find out a new workaround. Because the game will most likely require the latest firmware update.
