Gaming Skyrim crashes right after launching the game

I already have 260 hours in the game with the digital copy. Yesterday I saw the physical copy on sale, and since my SD card was already full, I thought about clearing up some space by deleting the digital game and just playing the physical one instead. So I deleted the entire skyrim software along with the update file.But after putting in the card and downloading the update, and launching the game, the game immediately crashed and said "The software was closed because an error occurred". I deleted the update and redownloaded it again, thinking it might have been corrupt. Same thing.

So I redownloaded the game from the Eshop, deleted the update, redownloaded it again. Now I'm getting this same s*** with the eshop version as well! WTF??

So I took out my older, smaller SD card, formatted it, and used this card to download Skyrim and the update onto it. Guess what, same thing happened...So it's basically not caused by the game card and not the SD card...

Does anyone know what might be causing this?

This sounds like a wierd request but hang with me for a second

Have you tried deleting the save data or trying to launch the game under a different Switch profile.

yeah I deleted the save data too after backing it up, but it didn't do the trick
I never thought about launching it with another profile, but I just tried and it's the same thing...
