Homebrew Questions about Priiloader? I have the files but am afraid of bricking?

I have the files and i extracted it. one of the files is cfgloader.dol from 2011, but i have the latest version of cfg already on my wii (2014, iirc). Do i just replace the 2011 dol file with the latest one (its a boot file). Or do i stick with the 2011 one and still install it? Also does priiloader allow using the gamecube controller to access the apps or do i still have to use wii remote? Can you access any channel from it? And what are the chances of the wii bricking if i use this?

Video guides are typically not advised as they can become outdated and there are newer versions of priiloader, although I haven't installed the newest version myself.

Personally, I'd install Priiloader as a form of (limited) brick protection if you don't have bootmii as boot2. Just make sure to not overwrite the system menu and it's IOS.
