New generation of consoles is a perfect time for take abandoned games and gave them another fresh look. What franchies do You Guys think will suit best in new generation of Playstation console. I would like to see:

- Motorstorm
- Infamous
- Prototype
- Killzone
- Resistance
- Deadspace
- Silent hill
- Twisted metal
- Wipeout
- Dragon ball Z Budokai Tenkaichi (or Raging blast)

A new Sly game would be great, though I suppose it'd really depend on the developer.

Sony also published the first Wild Arms, so that'd be another great revival to see. The same goes for Soul Sacrifice.

And, even if its still a series that's fairly new, I'd be really glad to see a new Gravity Rush entry, since it seems the first two were great, yet not that well known.

resident evil. i know they already have been brought back a few times in other new-generation-ish consoles(ps4) but i think it might be nice to have another resident evil. but not some silly remaster, no i'm talking about a NEW game.

I thought Resident Evil 8 is the new game I'm not really a big fan of remasters but Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 3 is more better than the old school PS1 versions. As far as Resident Evil 4 and Up we don't really need remasters of those they already gave us Resident Evil 4 HD (Which I'm currently playing on my PS3)

yeah, bio-hazard IS the new game, but it didn't seem to get much love. it had a decent story-line, but it could be better.

only problem with resident evil, is that it's a hard game to keep a good story with. due to it's "zombies, scary, jumpscare" way of "thinking".

i agree, the older games are much better than the newer ones. mind you, some of the things i enjoy in the older games is the 3rd person view. so idk man maybe if they made a new game, but with OLD features? idk, gives em room for experimentation.

I don't really find resident evil scary. Dead Space was more scary I hate that EA canceled Dead Space 4. I guess my ideal resident evil game they focus on the game being scary we have alot of zombie games and considering Resident Evil basically started the whole zombie thing they should really focus on making the game also scary.

it was never meant to be scary, at least i don't think.

what I DO think, is that the video game term "zombies" has turned into a scary thing, with walking dead in an extreme example. so resident evil saw this as an opportunity, and took it. also, jump scares seem to work SO much better, when you are in 1st person view.

what really scratches my head, is how motherfuckers managed to make zombies a brain-eating concept lmao

The bad thing is now we have too many Zombie games.. I can atleast say Resident Evil have some cool zombie bosses and etc... but the other games "I never played Dying Light" the zombies are just annoying and serve no purpose.

definitely, lots of zombie games. all too similar. now, dying light is an AMAZING game, like 100% recommend it. i don't know how the second game will turn out, but i still look forward to it none than less.

dying light also isn't one of those "scary games", sure it has some spooky vibes that might get your heart going, but those are GOOD vibes, right? (oh, and the story for the game is in-hu-fucking-mane)

How about a PS5 version of Uncharted Golden Abyss?

I imagine that retooling the game for the PS5 would be an enormous undertaking and it certainly wasn't my favorite game of the franchise. I don't myself sitting down and playing any of them again in 4k or 8k (I still have a 1080p tv anyway).

I expect there will be a game to go along with next years movie, even if it's not directly based on it. So maybe a prequel.

Well, not really because of new consoles, but after seeing the remake announcement of tony hawk pro skater I wanted to play SSX again.
Loved it back then especially SSX on Tour and played it much more than all skate board games.

I believe especially the snow effects would look really nice and it could be, next to ray tracing, one of those big things (yeah, RDR2 also had really cool effects, but still) like it was water at the start of the gamecube.

Dark/Demon's Souls or BloodBourne. I just want more Miyazaki games, tbh. I've not played Bloodbourne yet, but I'm eagerly looking forward to buying a system for it.

It's really cool there's a Demon's Souls remaster coming for PS5! (Dammit no PC release, still! :nayps3:)

I know these series haven't been dead long, but I don't want to live in a world where quality Souls games aren't being made.

Mortal Shell beta has given me a little hope recently.

Also, Metal Gear Solid, while I'm dreaming! Even a 'completed' MGS V, with a real 3rd act, would make me incredibly happy.

Maybe it was the novelty of the Vita but I enjoyed it. I only have a 1080p TV too, but I'm also a little skeptical that the consoles will provide a true 4K/60 experience considering most high end PCs can barely manage it for all games.
