You have to copy the system_settings.ini from the folder "/atmosphere/config_templates/" to "/atmosphere/config/" and add this entry under the section [atmosphere]:

enable_deprecated_hid_mitm = u8!0x1

Afterwards the system has to be rebooted for the change to take effect.

However, the controls will not work if you use the emulator or the homebrew menu via a forwarder!
It works via the homebrew menu if it should be run as an applet, or via title-overide.

I don't use a forwarder.. I only use the homebrew menu through R and launch game then select it.

Reboot ? How do I reboot ? I must be stupid, lol!

You have to reboot the system. You can do this for example with the tool Reboot to Payload, which is included in Atmosphere.

This method is fine

ADD

enable_deprecated_hid_mitm = u8!0x0
enable_deprecated_hid_mitm = u8!0x1

or

EDIT it to enable_deprecated_hid_mitm = u8!0x1??

If this entry is already included in the file, you can simply change it accordingly. The semicolon at the beginning of the line must be removed, and the command must be at the beginning of the line.

Okay.. then all I have to do is found this:

; enable_deprecated_hid_mitm = u8!0x0
[hbloader]

then edit it to:

; enable_deprecated_hid_mitm = u8!0x1
[hbloader]

Right?

No, it has to look that way (without the semicolon and placed at the beginning of the line):

enable_deprecated_hid_mitm = u8!0x1
[hbloader]

Oh, I have to have two of those:

;enable_deprecated_hid_mitm = u8!0x0
[hbloader]
; enable_deprecated_hid_mitm = u8!0x1
[hbloader]

then payload hekate and click reboot?

Can you upload your system_settings.ini here? Then I will adapt it to you, so that there are no misunderstandings.

Can anyone give me a hint on what romset you are using that matches the mixrbv2 Png files? I know it sounds ass backwards but I would rather not have to rename all the PNGs to match my ancient romset that I am using from like a decade ago with different names. Or, if I'm looking at this the wrong way, let me know.Thanks!

Or you can check pnes/psnes that came with xml and edit it with notepad.

in the info of pnes you can write that if you put the file "disksys.rom" in the pnes folder you can also use famicom disk system file.
add media famicom disk system.

Many previews don't show up in the "Favorites" section even though they work perfectly fine in the "All" or the "Available" section.
Does anyone know how to fix this?

Edit: It's the same with videos. They work in the "All" and "Available" section but not in the "Favorites" one

Hey all. Just wanted to share this. I hardly understand how to edit these things but since I didn't like the default big_preview (4.4) look so I tweaked them a tiny bit. Didnt like the blue color on both sides of the boxart and the no image logo clipping out, etc as I scrolled so I just modified a couple things to change the background and border colors to the grey so it blends in better. Ive added a pic to show what I mean. I am a 100% noob at these things so hope I was allowed to post it like this. My changes made both pnes and psnes use the same color scheme as I just copy pasted the config files. If you like it then just grab it here. Cheers.
