If you like SEGA Master System games as California Games, F1 Championship, R-Type, Out Run, Space Harrier or others for that game system, and you want to see in action as Wii VC games, this is the tutorial for you.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------

DO NOT ATTEMPT TO CREATE CUSTOM Wii VC WADS unless you know what are you doing!!!!!! It's highly recommendable that you have installed in your Wii any brick protection such as BootMii as boot2, or Priiloader!

Here are the steps to inject your game!

----------------------
You can download the tools here: https://gbatemp.net/download/all-in-one-wii-vc-injecting-tools-by-saulfabreg.35917/

Sorry in point 6 ('Select a Console') of sixth step, the console to select wasn't 'Genesis / Mega Drive', please excuse me , for injecting save icon and save title for SMS games, choose 'Master System' in 'Select a console'. If any other question you have, please write me. See you again in other forum! :)

I used these for porting Sonic Triple Trouble and Sonic Blast onto the Wii Virtual Console. Thank you so much!
I'm happy you injected these SEGA Master System games as Wii VC successfully. I injected with this method World Grand Prix, Hang-On, Castle of Illusion Starring Mickey Mouse, F-1 Championship and OutRun.

I'm having a problem with this. A lot of the tools wont open and the office setup pad doesn't work on my Windows 10 Professional. I'm trying to get Super Tennis on my Wii.

I just want to change the rom from a japanese .wad of Phantasy Star to the Translated .sms rom. What do i need to do? Assuming for make a ".wad" with another title, the tutorial have to be followed entirely, ok. But i want the same game, so no need to change the banner, icon, save or anything, just the rom. The game is the same. Anyone can help me with a more safe and simple guide than that huge one above to only change the rom?

Just unpack the WAD, extract the 5.app with U8 Tool, minimize it, extract the data.ccf with CCF Tool, minimize it, rename the ROM you want to inject with the name of the "original" ROM in the data.ccf file (example, Sonic2_UE_01.SMS.zlib), replace the ROM with your ROM you want to inject, then repack data.ccf with CCF Tool, and repack the 5.app with U8 Tool, and then repack the WAD. Greetings :)

Thanks, i'll try that. Which application i need to unpack/pack wads? And i'll use a JAP Phantasy Star stock .wad. Can i run into "region free wii wad" app to run this wad on my NTSC-U Wii before packing the new translated rom?

Use BFGR's WAD Packer/Unpacker. Link to that with all my apps I use for inject WADs: (Chrome doesn't like very much the file, so if a warning shows that the page has harmful programs, just skip it and download my file, it's 100% safe): https://gbatemp.net/download/all-in-one-wii-vc-injecting-tools-by-saulfabreg.35917/
I'm a firefox user, thank God for firefox lol. So, about the "region free wad", Can i run it on the new packed .wad, or do you recommend run the "region free" app before unpacking? It's a Japanese Phantasy Star .wad, and my Wii is a NTSC-U console.

Well, it doesn't matter what region is the SEGA Master System WAD is... but if you want to play the Japanese WAD in your NTSC-U Wii, you MUST patch the WAD for make it "Region Free" with FreeTheWads or ShowMiiWads (I frequently use FreeTheWads and it works great)
