Auto WiiWare Patcher and Wiimmfi Patcher
have been integrated in the RiiConnect24 Patcher.

Updater is now fixed.

Have been using this last week to setup and connect my friends wiis together, it's really nice to be able to send each other goofy miis
Is it possible for this to auto register these friends automatically in various games when trying to play online together?
(Or maybe there's always a friend register system on a per game basis?)

I just tried the built-in WiiWare patcher for a Bomberman WAD, but I got an error; Wiiware patcher.exe isn't a valid program.
I'm on a mac, so I'm using it on a virtualbox with a Windows XP.

Maybe the WiiWare Patcher doesn't support XP? Try Vista or better 7.

So, does this mean that we can now perpetually continue online gaming on the Wii? Which games have the strongest community?

Unofficial online gaming on the Wii has existed for a while, since like mid-2014 with Wiimmfi, which is the biggest service mostly.
Mario Kart Wii has by far the largest community and probably will be for a long while.
It also supports DS games, from my observation, if anyone is on the DS, usually Mario Kart DS.

For Windows please download RiiConnect24Patcher.bat
For UNIX System users (MacOS, Linux) unfortunately - our patcher is kinda broken and doesn't have all the new features in it. Run a VM or find a Windows computer to run the script. It takes only few minutes depending on your CPU
