any chance of a complete walk through for nintendo wii u to get the same results you have here?

Hello MikeVertx,

I wrote all my walk through in spanish, but hopefully you can understand it or directly translate it through Google Translator meanwhile I translate it to english by my own.

------------------------------
Hack Pirateo de Wii U 5.5.2, - 5.5.4
------------------------------

1. Ejecutar el Exploit mediante le navegador:

· Comprar el juego Brain Training (Gratis)

· Web: sleepii.ovh

· Sploit: Nº3

· Link:

· Link: https://github.com/FIX94/haxchi/releases

· Ruta instalador: SD:\haxchi

· Ruta App HomeBrew: SD:\wiiu\apps\haxchi

(Opción A)

4. Instalar d2x CIOS: V10 BETA 53 D2X...

a. 56 249

b. 57 250

c. 58 251

5. Instalar IOS 236 Installer v8 special edition:

a. Installs a patched IOS36 into the IOS236 slot.

o USB Loader GX-UNEO_Forwarder_5_1_AHBPROT (For vWii ONLY).

o Homebrew Channel "Wide".

------------------------------
USB Loader GX Configuration
------------------------------

· Loader's IOS 58

· Game's IOS 251

· GameCube Mode Nintendont

· Nintendont Video Scale (Tamaño): 100

· Nintendont Video Offset (Posición): 0

· Memory Card Emulation: Individual.

· Memory Card Blocks Size: 123.

------------------------------
Nintendont - Canal Wii U
------------------------------

· Para que funcionen los Zelda Collectors:

o Nintendont Video Size: 660

o Nintendont Video Position: -2

Ya really do gotta love a hacked-out Wii U, in addition to playing any Wii U game you desire, you get full compatibility with every Wii game, every Gamecube game (though GBA connectivity sadly is off the table), every NES, SNES, GB, GBC, and GBA game via emulation. A majority of N64 games via emulation and injects, a sizable amount of DS games via injects, full Genesis, Master System, Game Gear, and Sega CD compatibility via genplus GX (plus some other obscure Sega system or 2 in there), a decent amount of PSone and PSP games playable via emulations, full turbografx16 and Neo Geo AES emulations, and a sizable amount of MAME games playable as well. Plus other more obscure systems including even Virtual Boy. It may not play every N64 or DS game, nor can it emulate 3DS or (obviously) Switch titles. But it really does a great job of tackling most Nintendo games from the Wii U and earlier. As such I can't fathom it being a system that I'll ever let go of.

Hey Eipok, did you tried SNES9X RX and Not64?
SNES9X RX has Gamepad support and Not64 can be overclocked and play at full speed on Wii U (but no gamepad support for now, only Wii U Pro)

Not really... Both the SNES9X_GX and Wii64 works well with the latest versions. Regarding the N64, I as well have the VC with filter removal and forced widescreen ratio for the following games:

PS: to accomplish this, you can take a look to the following tutorial:

Hope it helps!

Best regards

SNES9XGX also has Gamepad support, and the latest Wii64 builds are better than Not64 and too can be overclocked with Gamepad support at that.

Snes9X RX work greats too and can have some advantages in performance beating Snes9x GX (also have MSU support)

Also, we cant forget that Wii64 1.2 works with 2 video plugins: Glide and Rice but both run with diferents apps. Wii64 1.2 Rice works better than Not64 because Not64 is Glide only, but Not64 Glide work better than Wii64 1.2 Glide.
Wii64 1.2 has Wii U Gamepad support buth dont have overclock. Test Wii64 and Not64 with overclock enabled and tell me the diferencce. Also, Glide and Rice have diferents list of compatibility (a game can run better or worse on Glide or Rice)

I know about that butthey already solved the input lag of N64 VC?
Thats the only reason for me to not use N64 VC for now

I promise you that Wii64 Rice works wth overclock and gamepad support, the difference when I use overclock with it is incredibly obvious, without it, games have lag, with overclock, the same games run incredibly smoothly. I promise you, I do know what I'm talking about. I play it a lot these days, especially after Super Mario 64 Land was released where the difference of overclock on and off was immediately noticeable.

You can get the overclock versions of Wii64 Rice or Glide at that iso site, both with gamepad compatibility.

How do you know that Wii 64 is the overclocked one, and how can you know that it is activated?

Easy, you test games without launching overclock before booting Wii64, and then test the same games after launching overclock and then Wii64. The games run much more smoothly when you launch overclock before.

Allright... And how do you activate the overclock?

Get the sign_c2w_patcher homebrew app. Launch the app, brings you back to the home menu, then launch any of the overclock compatabile emulators you have channels for on the home menu. In addition to Wii64 Rice, I have WiiSXR, SNES9XGX, VBAGX, and Mame all with overclock compatibility as well. (These overclock emulators are all readily available on that iso site)

So, I understand that having the CBHC (Coldboot Haxchi) activated, just by opening the mentioned emulators, the Wii U is overclocked by default, right?

No. If you had it default to overclocking with CBHC, then some things wont load that aren't overclock compatible when you try to launch them. I have CBHC as well, you need launch the sign_c2w_patcher homebrew app and then launch an overclock compatible emulator.

I am trying to look for a N64 game to test the Wii64 Rice, but actually, without the patch, everygame runs smothly...

Well a good one to test I say is Super Mario 64 Land, the rom hack that just came out. Completely playable with or without overclock, but without overclock, you can notice some small lag, with overclock, you can't notice any real issues in performance. But yeah, those latest builds of Wii64 have definitely come a long way as it is where overclock isn't really needed all that much as it is, but if you're looking at the right titles, you can definitely notice a difference.

Just to confirm, the sign_c2w_patcher homebrew app that I have downloaded is the one found in here: https://github.com/FIX94/sign_c2w_patcher/releases/tag/v0.3

Is it the good one?

Probably, in all honesty, I just used the included sign_c2w_patcher that the Wii64 Rice Overclock download included from that iso site. The modified date of that version in the zip file is 3/27/2018 which is newer than the version you linked there, but I'm not sure if that's just in reference to when he zipped it up, or if it's a build not hosted on the github site (probably the former, but I can't say definitively). I'm just gonna PM you the forum post to make sure you get the proper files.

Hey there.

Just wanted to give a shout-out to eipok. Thanks for sharing your setup.

I noticed you had gotten some very unfair and undeserved criticism, so I wanted to let you know that I found your post very helpful. I'm particularly grateful for the custom icon and banners you made.

Great job!

Thanks again.

How do the SD cards with reader perform in comparison to a USB HDD?
I have seen that it isn't recommended to use flash drives, but this configuration is ok?
I assume the USB interface is 2.0...but have you done any performance tests?
