ROM Hack Question Is there a way to transfer saves between regions?

I'm currently playing the JP rune factory 4 special and have the USA version preordered. I'm hoping to be able to transfer that same save file to the USA version if it's possible. Is there a way?

only possible if you are using cfw and a save dumping/injecting tool. unless its on the same profile, you can try uploading the save data to nintendo online cloud save storage

I do use checkpoint, and have modded switch. Been using the translation mod to play, but want to be ready to transfer saves between the regions. It would work if i used the method for transferring stardew pc to switch save method right?

    I've owned both iPhone and Androids over the years. Both are just as good, other than Apples higher price. I'm currently on Android, Samsung S21 I think, and very happy with it.
