If other micro SD cards are also not working, it seems like the SD card slot is not working. You should return your switch then

I have tried only one 32gb microsd. It did not work.
Does 4.1.0 firmware supports 200gb? Or newer updates supports higher capacity carts?

As I already said, it seems like you missed some step/s in the guide. Just follow it again and you will be fine.

Hi Aarti, nope I do 2 different guide it came an error says:

Unknown pkg1 version

what is mean?

I have a few questions before I finally install CFW to my switch when I get my RCMloader later this week:

1. Should I use exFAT or Fat32 when I reformat/partition my sd card? (I heard exFAT can lead to corruption but can handle bigger files)

2. I plan on using sysnand for online play and emunand for homebrew stuff, is there a way to transfer saves between the two? (I heard sysnand and emunand are basically treated as two different switches meaning seperate saves)

3. How hard it is to switch between sysnand and emunand? Is there a proper way to launch sysnand without risking a ban?

4. If I use 90dns or Incognito on my emunand, will this affect my sysnand's ability to play online?

Thanks in advance!

1. You should use Fat32. Indeed exFat leads to corruption, and to use files on Fat32 bigger than 4GB, you can split them with splitNSP.

2. The saves from sysMMC will be copied to emuMMC when creating it. After that you can share saves only with Checkpoint, but that will make your sysMMC dirty.
Edit: Not true, as saves are stored in sysMMC and not sd card.

3. You will have to reboot your Switch everytime to switch between sysMMC and emuMMC.

4. No

1. I use FAT32 and I'm fine. There's Goldleaf v0.6.1 that is working flawlessly to install bigger nsps via USB. SD corruption is something that will certainly upset you (happened to me twice), so I recommend FAT32.

2. I don't recommend moving stuff from CFW to OFW (I don't know if saves are safe; I think they are, but you never know). Probably you can import your saves from OFW to CFW just copying the save folder, but I never tried it myself.

3. I assume you have a RCM exploitable switch. It isn't big of a deal tbh. It's very unlikely to get banned just by switching systems, I've never seen someone reporting this situation. So, if you don't mess up your sysnand in any way, you should be fine.

4. Consider that emuNAND and sysNAND are two different consoles (theoretically they are) that run on the same hardware. They don't bump into each other in any way (even if you erase emuNAND's serial number with incognito, sysNAND's continues existing).

How people use emuMMC is they set one partition for loading CFW & homebrew, usually emuMMC, then play online in the other partition, usually sysMMC.

Unfortunately that guide does not have an emuMMC section yet but if you want a similar guide with an emuMMC guide, you can try this.

So, just wanted to confirm: if I created a emuNAND and did all of my CFW on that partition and then took my microSD card out, I'd be able to boot up the clean sysNAND with a separate microSD card that can go online without any risk? I didn't modify my sysNAND at all.

hello all, is the new 8.1 cfw all good or should i stay at 6.2?
8.1.0 works fine.

You don‘t need to remove the micro sd card to boot to clean SysNAND.

also another question, what would happen if you disable Emunand could you re enable it without any consequences
Yes, you can simply enable it again.

thx for reply, does the new atmosphere have also the patches for the gamecard slot enabled by default?
In the latest fusee-primary nogc is enabled by default. If you boot with hekate, it’s also enabled by default (never set autonogc to 0 if you care about gc slot in the ini hekate file).
