I'm very much into 3DS modding and love the small but decent amount of 3DS fan-translations, orchestral soundtrack (Dragon Quest) and uncensor mods etc that have come out of here so far. My favourite thing to do with my modded New 3DS XL is create official-looking Virtual Console injections & forwarders and play retro games on it given the resolution of the LCD top screen and how it looks like it has scanlines. I spent more time playing my N3DSXL than my original Switch, and I still use it more than my Switch 2. Looking forward to participating further!
