you most likely don't have IOS58 installed on your wii.Hi all. When attempting to launch a gamecube game (nintendont) via WFL, this screen appears for a couple of seconds and then I get sent back to the health and safety screen. It may be hard to read but it mentions IOS58 and AHB access. Any help? Thanks

run syscheck and post results here.

if you do have IOS58 then how are you loading wiiflow lite? because it's not disabling AHBPROT and should be.
not sure about cfg loader and usb loader gx. but a while back i uploaded wiiflow and wiiflow lite forwarders on wiiflowiki 4 website and they didn't properly disable AHBProt. but I have since fixed those and re uploaded them. they should all be working properly now.I’m loading WFL via system mnu (channel forwarder). I can flawlessly use nintendont via HBC or it’s own channel forwarder. I’m pretty sure CFG usb loader mod and USB loader GX can’t run my gc games either. I’ll add a syscheck later today.

where did you get your forwarder for wiiflow? and when?
you can use wiiflow channel installer or any others found here - https://sites.google.com/site/wiiflowiki4/forwarder-channelsI installed it just yesterday. I got it from
https://gbatemp.net/threads/wiiflow-channel-forwarders.257191/
(2nd one down) so yeah it’s pretty old. I didn’t realize the forwarder had anything to do with it. Are you allowed to post the link to the forwarder you mentioned here, or can I just run the channel installer and it will work?

the lastest version includes plugins to use for wiiflowis anybody using @Wiimpathy 's mame plus cores as plugin in wiiflow?
What magic numbers are you using?
I'm going to do some arcade covers for the new games that are now playable with this version.
There are too many good games that deserves it!
Captain America and the Avengers
Spiderman
Liquid Kids
Hammerin' Harry
SD Gundam Psycho Salamander
...to name a few
yes i use them. like MrSW said wiimpathy's download comes with a wiiflow folder with the plugins and magic #s already set.is anybody using @Wiimpathy 's mame plus cores as plugin in wiiflow?

The files in plugins_data folder are platform.ini and a folder for each platform listed in platform.ini.How do the files at plugins_data work? What are the contents of the .ini files and where does the info in the .xml files get displayed?
Edit: I asked because I was not getting rom names in Wiiflow, but that was because the plugin magic numbers at platform.ini did not match those of my .ini files at /wiiflow/plugins. I would still like to know how to customize a given platform (say, ARCADE.ini), and therefore, also know what its contents are supposed to be.
Edit 2: Weird. I was getting rom names from the database for Neo Geo, but after adding their covers I do not anymore (WiiFlow 5.3.0 beta 6).
the ini is a list of each game using a short name title without all the[] and () markings. after the = sign the first 6 digits is a game ID much like wii and gc games. after that is all the CRC's and/or serials known for that game.
currently none of it is used to convert arcade rom zip names to proper titles.
WiiFlow 5 beta 5 download - https://www.mediafire.com/file/qcdn3pbde6kpqhd/wf5beta5_boot.dol/file
changes:
[…]
- now platform ini is loaded on wiiflow start. instead of constantly loading and unloading it. platform ini is now used for gameinfo, coverflows, blank cover titles, and more.
the crc's in the ini are not every file in the zip. the crc listed is the entire zip and there's multiple crc because there might be rom zips with different crc value. so multiple ones listed helps to cover all of them.@fledge68, I must have edited my post for the 3rd time while you were writing. My apologies. Can you check what I say about the inconsistency between my CRC and the ones in the ini, and WiiFlow nevertheless matching the rom?
I thought that the release notes of 5.3.0 beta 5 regarding those meant it was now used for the name in coverflow too,
At any rate, I would have sworn that I did see titles, not rom names, for Neo Geo roms, say Windjammers instead of wjammers, when browsing through titles (i.e. not in the game info page) before adding the covers. Am I crazy?
