While trying to install Star Fox Zero with Wup Installer gx2, it gave me a "possible bad SD card, format it" error.

I made the mistake of not backing up the existing files in SD card, because I thought the old files in my PC I had kept from when I originally modded the console years ago (it has Haxchi and Coldboot Haxchi) would work.

I formatted the SD card and copied onto it the folder structure and files, the same ones I used the first time, needed to modify the Wii U.

Now, when I turn on the console with the SD card containing those old files inserted, the screen stays black, and the Wii U Home Menu never appears.

How can I fix this? Do I need to go through the modding process again? I bought the Brain Training for the mod, can I still use it?

Thank you so much!

Any visible numbers on the black screen? The Wii U Hacks Guide has some common errors listed if so.

Just tread carefully, if you can. Haxchi, and especially Coldboot, are very particular pieces of legacy software. Make sure your SD Card is formatted correctly for the Wii U (FAT32 + MBR); that one seems to be an issue a lot. Make sure your file structure is correct as well.

I'd start there.
