@Robz8 , I think "exit to launcher" is broken again. I've only tried the new twilight menu++ on my ds through a supercard dstwo flash cart. however, exiting to launcher causes the system to freeze.

It's fixed in v8.5.0 and later though. Are you sure you're on the latest?
I never tested it on the DSTWO, btw.

yes, I just installed it. it was a clean install (deleted everything, then placed the new files on the card). I haven't tried it on my 3ds. 8.5.0 doesn't have this problem on the 3ds from what I remember. I'll update that tomorrow probably and report back.

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

@Robz8 , I just tested the 3ds with version 8.5.0. exit to launcher works correctly. tomorrow, I'll see what happens if I use 8.5.1 on the 3ds, no flash cart.

Good.

Is "boot.nds" (from "Flashcard users") on your DSTWO's SD root?

I tried it with and without that file and the result was the same. I was thinking it was that file at first actually. aside from that, I haven't encountered any problems with twilight menu on the supercard dstwo.

btw, @Robz8 , is it prudent to install the update cia files for twilight menu, use the twilight menu++ updater, or manually place the files on the 3ds sd card? will residual traces of old installs remain if you don't do it manually?

Is there anyway to get the English patched version of Nanashi No Geemu (The Nameless Game) working on TWLMenu? When starting it says it may not run properly if not AP patched. However, DS Scene Tool doesn't recognize the game. When the game starts a few logo screen are shown, but then it hangs at a black screen. I'm running TWLMenu v8.5.1 and nds-bootstrap v0.21.2
I have something similar with FF The 4 Heroes of Light, translated roms can not be put AP, you will have to open a hexadecimal editor and change the values to be able to patch.

I follow the instructions: with version 8.5.1, but I don't understand why after I copied it like in the video and go to the FBI to install TWiLight Menu.cia, TWiLight Menu - Game booter.cia, it does not work. I clicked on the TWiLight app and it showed black on the screen, I had to hold down the power button to turn off the device. I have missed any steps, please guide me.

If launching TWLMenu++ makes the console crash on black screens, follow the guide to fix TWL mode from the FAQs in the first post.

Firstly, thank you for this - it's making my New 3DS XL experience that much better being able to play the NDS library in it.

That said, I realize now there is a 39 game limit per folder in the NDS experience here and I'm guessing that's from the original console.
To overcome that, I've made several folders for NDS games, each maxing out at 39 titles. No problems there.

The problem I'm getting is only in Box Art.
I've downloaded the latest Twilight Release yesterday and also downloaded the Box Art PNG files from the recommended website.
I put them into the target folder, but when I load Twilight, the Top Screen preview is showing a bright red screen with Error written in it and the application freezes.

I can still get out of it with the Home button and end Twilight, and the application runs just fine without the Box Art files.
I was hoping to be able to have my several folders of 39 games and eat it with their Box Art, too, so if this issue is ever fixed, I would be very grateful.

Hello.:)

For that @Robz8 hat implementet an simple but genius feature:

- put your games in the Folder (more than 39)
- boot your DSi/3DS XL
- then you can simply use "L" and "R" Shoulder Buttons to change to the next 39 games.
